I've had more sale arrive today. I would like to say this is it now, but I clearly have poor impulse control. Reflecting back on the sale, I think it's odd that the entirety of my first two orders all went back, one item I wanted just needed a bigger size, which I got today and is a keeper, but the rest of those first two orders were things I had been really wanting to try. It's as if I don't know what to choose from them at all.
Anyway, I'm keeping the boatneck striped tee in XL - I'm a high street 12 up top but I don't like fitted tees and this doesn't look oversized on me.
The tie neck firth dress in a size 10 - I'm a hs 14 on my bottom and this isn't even near skiming. I love the matieral and the pattern of the shape dress very much. I will alter the tie kneck at some point as I don't like this, but that will be an easy fix. I'm going towear it first to see how the rest of the collar lays.
On a whim I ordered the yak wool jumper - it's proper hygge and I'm looking forward to winter now. It's cozy and light at the same time.
4 pairs of falke cosy and boot socks - I'd ordered these first thing but I got the size wrong so I'm glad they were still there when I realised my mistake.
I tried the POW outfit. The jacket in a 10 was a comfy fit and suited me fine, but I don't need it as a stand alone jacket in my wardrobe and the outfit as a whole didn't suit me. It was an itch that has been scratched
I've had a further thought about the Martha ticking strip dress. I won't do this, or at least not any time soon, but shortening it to below the knee would be easy and would definitely keep the aesthetic of the dress whilst shaking off some of the puritanical vibe. I may consider this if I find poeple bowing to me or saying "blessed be the fruit".
