@RockaLock For me the sizing is worse. It used to be that i new i would take a large in a fitted cardi, a 12 in dresses and tops, 14 trousers, and mediums when that was an option. Some of the sale content i know, but for about 5 items i ordered multiple sizes.

Thank you re: sizing. I think might go for my usual toast size, and keep my fingers crossed. Certainly some of the reviews say it still comes up big!

Really envious of how good you look in the jumpsuits @FufferPish , I always look as if I’m about to start a major painting and decorating job .

I’m finding sizing a bit of a challenge too, but I think it’s a lot to do with changing body shape and age, as well as toast's updated sizes.

I'm a bit confused!
It comes in XS ,S, M etc unless they have changed how they size it ?

I've ordered an XS and S based on the reviews.
I now have 3 jumpsuits on the way
I must only keep one!

I wish they'd just put the actual garment measurements on the website!

I know that would take a bit more work upfront, but they'd surely recoup that many times over with fewer returns.

Does anyone have the drift check crinkled cotton dress, and can advise me on sizing/fit?

I agree, they must have the measurements so why not just post them.

Surely processing so many returns is more work than adding the measurements for each item?
Plus sometimes it's a short sale and people lose out if they can't reorder.
It's so frustrating

Hi all, I am new to Toast - is anyone able to estimate how long it normally is from early access to the sale opening to us plebs? 😆

Alpacasoft thanks, it was a surprise to me too, I am straight up and down, no waist, athletic, broad shoulders and jumpsuits are just the thing. My mother (at 76) also wears them really well, I be given me some of mine and she's now bought 5 more 😂. I want them to stay in fashion forever!

I think everyone has that one style that rocks, and it's about taking chances and just trying everything. I look like I'm in drag i a dress and I've never been able to show my legs. Most pics on here show people erratic dresses like I never could! (Plus I cycle to work and a dress could get messy...

I got the S before the new sizing. The new sizing is just the old sizing with xxx and xs added I suspect.

Me too. I’ve bought nothing. Only one item on my wish list was reduced and I’ve gone off it. I can’t quite believe it, I must be ill.

Got the sale email but was working til late so have only had a quick look. Will look again tomorrow.

I’ve had the ballon linen trousers and Stirlini Adrie sandals on today, gosh I think I may spend the summer in these. Those sandals are incredible, super comfy from first wear! Toast linen for the win over the last week … made another sale purchase this evening, the Yak jumpers looks wonderful (I hope it’s not too itchy).

It's not that good. Very little of the summer stock in the sale. Just old things from.previous years. Lots of dresses I have already.

@GeraltsBathtub if I remember correctly from previous sales, Toast sales usually open to Kindred members for a day or two first and then are made available to all. My guess, (and I could well be wrong), is that the sale will appear on the Toast website for all to see sometime tomorrow - Thursday.

Bizarrely, the sale button has just appeared in the drop down menu for non-kindred shoppers, but not everything that is actually reduced can be seen. For example: The cotton marl sweater is showing at £175, but if my sister logs on as a Kindred member it shows the sale price: £85. However, the reduced price jumpsuits can be seen, (and bought). It makes no sense to me 🤣

Thanks @Dee1224 I’ll keep my eyes peeled! I could see the sale tab briefly pop up yesterday and then it would disappear as the page loaded. And some of the things people have linked to on here come up at the sale price when I click through but some come up as an error, very strange!

@GeraltsBathtub the sale seems to have gone live in its entirety for non-kindred now. I don’t know which is weirder - me logging onto Toast so or Toast altering sale access in the middle of the night 🤣

Oh I’ve bought plenty! @dudsville @Blossomtoes two pairs of denim trousers, the ikat trousers, the stripy Cleo t shirt and a francli phone case! ☺️ I must try not to look for any further reductions now or additions to the sale!!

Nothing for me yet, Toast seems insistent on punishing me for making some of my own clothes last year and not buying much and kicking me off of Kindred 😀Where is that sale button!

@FufferPish - the sale button for non-kindred has disappeared again this morning - was putting it on before midnight last night some kind of trial run? An error by the IT pixie? Who knows? I wasn’t imagining it, but now it’s not there for me either 🤣

Their site is always glitchey around sales, and during non sales there's always at least one or two errors, i think it's why someone on these threads always manages to find a way in before it goes live for kindred. It must go live today.
