Your first photo my guess would have been 16 or so but you are clearly smaller in the second photo

My mum took some pics of me on a day I felt really nice recently sat at a table in a restaurant and what looked back at me when I saw them was nothing short of the hunchback of Norte dame. I made her take some more where I was sat up straight and was relieved that I did look like what I’d seen in the mirror after all. Posture really does make such a difference 😂

Were you wearing the same bra in the two photos?
Sometimes it isn't the dress, it's the underwear that is the problem. It may be as simple as adjusting bra straps which will make all the difference.

Out of curiosity why do people post things like this? Is it so that we can say that they don't "look fat"? (which is a phrase that should be banned from the language, in any case). Is it to validate the OP in some way? I have responded to posts like this, but I don't really get it. Can someone please explain?

You looked plump in the first photo but healthy and well-proportioned in the second. The camera lies sonetimes!

Oh just seen the standing up picture. You look much slimmer in that. I agree in the sitting down photo you look larger than you are. I think the dress is probably not that flattering to be honest.

I lament we can't try things on in Sainbos anymore. I got this dress and put it on at home and it made me look mahoosive. To be fair, I am not a skinny minnie, but one can flatter oneself with clothing and choose not to wear things that don't do us any favours. Trouble is, I have since lost the receipt so have an unworn with tags dress that make me look huge. Oh well.
