Is Kate Spade still cool?

Idk, is it? I'm never sure as I know there are outlet stores which always puts me off a little? Educate me please!

God no. And neither are those bags with the little dogs on them. Although the brand names escapes me!

Not cool as such, But who cares!

I wouldn’t say that KS have any particular kudos attached to them but are well made smart bags that I would associate with smart casual ladies.

I like kate spade bags, they look smart, the branding ont he bag is minimal and they are really good quality so last for years.

I dont look for cool bags I look for bags that are nicely designed that I like.

And so what if they have an outlet store. I just don't understand why that even matters really

Outlet stores.. I don't like the two tier thing. I think being able to buy the "brand" but a lesser quality version takes away from the value of the brand as a whole

I don’t think Kate Spade as ever been particularly cool. Nice preppy NYC brand. Lulu Guinness seems a bit naff these days, too many collaborations with Debenhams, I think.

I have a kate spade bag I bought years ago. I don’t think it’s cool and I don’t know if I’d buy it now but you know what it’s a great bag, still looks good and has minimal branding on it. Will soon be going back to the office and I think I just might start using it again!

Lulu Guiness are lovely quality, I've got bags and suitcases/vanity cases. My 25 yr old DD is now a convert so I'm assuming it's not too naff.

Coach are very good quality too.

It was incredibly sad what happened to her, I used to like the designs but can’t help but think of what happened even though she no longer owned the brand.

I like Radley. Radley cross body pocket bags are great. Well made and long lasting.

The fact they are deemed not to be "cool" by Mumsnet Style and Beauty, is, if anything, a recommendation.
