We are quite persistent about women’s rights. You won’t find this one in Kate Spade or the like though.

I don’t really understand the middle range sort of handbags like Michael Kors, Kate Spade, guess, Coach. They’re made of plastic.

You could get a nice leather bag for the same money. At least Radley are leather. Some nice ones, just remove the little dog if you want.

On the outlet thing. Isn’t it just last season stock? Nothing wrong with it. Same thing as TK Maxx in my mind. Good deals to be had.

My fourteen year old loves them. Has a tote bag for school.

Some are made of leather, at a higher price point. Many of the popular designs are not leather.

Coach bags are made of leather. Good quality leather at that.

Honestly, if you like the bag and it is in your price range, then never mind the popularity of the brand.

And the quality of Radley is far below that of Coach.

I lived in the States in the 90's and was given/bought Coach handbags/ equivalent of lap top bags/ briefcases etc on the understanding of their "lifetime" guarantee. I had the receipts, and the number stamped inside the bag. Funnily enough when I needed to use the "lifetime" guarantee it no longer applied. There were numerous excuses as to definition of lifetime/country etc. I haven't bought a Coach bag in many years and never will again. I don't like being deceived. Treat it as a cheap fashion brand and you might not be disappointed. It might have been a good brand once.

Coach

Well Coach is considerably more expensive than Radley. I've never owned a Coach bag. I'm not that interested in bags. They serve a function and that's it. I've got a couple of Lulu Guinness patent leather bags and several leather Radley pocket bags in different sizes. They're all ancient and all wearing very well.

I don't much like the obvious "look at me" C shaped buckle/Logo on the Coach bags. The little dog charm is cute and can be removed if you don't like logos.

I only just discovered Kate spade last weekend when I visited the designer outlet 🤣 aren’t they just old granny handbags.

OP, I'm sorry if you've been made to feel like this isn't a space for you. I think these 'gender critical' fanatics are a very loud minority. They should shuffle off to the section of the website that was specifically created to contain their particular kind of nonsense. To answer your question, personally I think the Kate Spade look has had its day. I loved them 15 years ago but more into understated and neutral looks now, particularly with bags I am enjoying more natural looking materials with simple hardware on them. Kate Spade I associate with the hot pinks, turquoises and more obvious branding. I also think they got a bit ubiquitous and that made me lose interest as well. Seemed like every woman my age had the same thing for a while.

Maybe I'm just older and more boring now! My last handbag purchase was a polene and I am really enjoying it.

If you like them and they work with your style then definitely buy and enjoy them.
