I was reading a bit about Princess Haya the other day (interested as she used to be associated with somewhere I worked, although I never properly met her). It said that Jordan relies quite a lot on trade / financial support from the UAE, so her going home would have put her family in a diplomatically difficult situation. So if she is there it will probably be very low key. It’s a shame. Everyone I know who did meet her said she was nice.

ooh! Is the tiaras-are-for-married-women-only rule not an international one?

Though, to be fair, you couldn’t whack one on your own head and tell your daughter she can’t have one.

As usual CPV has nailed the eveningwear look - though I dislike pink I think she looks stunning in that pink gown. Not my favourite of the Swedish tiaras, but I'll take what I can get at this stage.

I think princesses are exempt from that rule.

Really not liking the bride's dress. It's making her walk like she is hobbled and the very flat shoes are showing too much when she walks. She does look very happy though which is the important thing.

It’s not a rule in the UK either - Princess Margaret wore a tiara for years before she got married.

Can anyone explain why the bride’s own family don’t seem to be that involved in the ceremony? I think her two attendants were her sisters in law, but I stand corrected if someone else knows better! Just curious about their traditions.

That's the pink version of a gown Meghan has worn in blue and red. I love a caped gown!

That's a lovely dress on CPV. Princess Lilian's tiara isn't one of my favs but it suits her face shape very well.

Max looks great, as does Kate. That dress - is it gold or bronze? Stunning. Cambridge Lover's Knot tiara. I don't like Beatrice's hair or dress.
Queen Rania, elegant as ever. The bride is beautiful, but I'm afraid it does look like a bit of a shaving cream accident.

Rajwa's evening dress looks like it was last seen on one of those doll toilet roll covers! I though the more modern and sleek lines of here ceremony dress suited her far better.
