Where do you put the clothes you have been wearing throughout the day when you go to bed?

I take off my actual clothes and change into loungewear at the end of the day. Today I put top, underwear and socks into the laundry, then jeans hung back up in the wardrobe. Loungewear is then left on the floor and I put on a nightie to actually go to bed.

On coat hanger on wardrobe door if anything decent I've worn outside the house and is still clean

Floor or chair.

On the chairdrobe if sober. Floordrobe if not.

A chair. It's such a conundrum though I often wonder how to implement a better system

This is what a chairdrobe is for. The one in my room at my parents’ house used to topple over regularly 😂

On the "worn but doesn't need washing yet" rail in the walk in.

Or on the floordrobe if the intention is to eventually wash it, where at some point in the week I'll gather it and put it in the hamper. Probably.

On the floor, I sort it out in the morning. It's one of the things that makes me feel like I can organise my life how I want to.

On top of my laptop on the little table near my bed. I can either put them back on during the night if emergency or put them in the wash basket in the morning when I’m showered and dressed in clean clothes. Generally the latter.

They go into The Pile. Might be worn again, maybe not. Will get mixed in with everything that I pull out of my closet the next time I get dressed. It’s a pit.

Knitwear, trousers, etc, hung on a hanger on the outside of the wardrobe to allow them to air.

Chair or floor. Chair if not need washing immediately, floor if they do

In the laundry, or just hang back up if its something that can be worn again before washing.
