A few NMR features I've missed this week, so just catching up.

1. Sofia in an interesting suede skirt. I guess I associate suede skirts with winter styling (ie with boots and knitwear), so can't work out if this look is a success. I'm on the fence.

2. Leti leaning heavily into the 80s revival. I'm afraid I'm not keen on anything about that dress, least of all the ruching.

3. I know we don't often sing Mathilde's fashion praises on here, but I think she looks really great in this 50s silhouette. It's Natan (natch).

I like Mathilde's look there, that dress is a lovely shape. I agree with you about Leti, I don't like the ruching and she seems to be going through something of a pink phase. Sofia always looks nice, although I'm not keen on suede for skirts. I quite like the jacket, though.

I agree with all those comments. I quite like the suede skirt, my mum had a chocolate brown suede skirt and matching waistcoat with the little cutouts, so it’s making me feel a bit nostalgic. I used to enjoy laying it out on her bed for her , with a long sleeved cream silk blouse with deep cuffs

Well, I usually love everything that Leti wears, but that pink dress gets a thumb down from me, it looks as though it's been adapted from a Roman blind.

Mathilde looks nice, that style suits her, and the colours work well for her too. I think she should have had handbag holding lessons from the old Queen though!

Sophie looks good today and Leti - well, it's ok and at least not pink.

I know it's an odd pic of Sophie but there weren't many which showed her shoes, sadly now covered in shavings!

Slight divert to the Coronation, Princess Anne has been appointed Charles' Gold-Stick-in-Waiting, who is entrusted with the monarch's personal safety.

Apparently, this means after the coronation she will ride on horseback behind the King and Queen in the Golden Coach and essentially lead the troops.

What a lovely honour, and I assume it means she will wear military uniform.

Oh Anne will be good at that, with her experience of foiling a kidnapping attempt!

I'm intrigued as to what Camilla will be called after the coronation. Even HM Queen Camilla would be a departure as her consort predecessors were just HM The Queen.

Yes, I think that the Queen Mother, following on from other Queens Consort didn't have that problem. HM The Queen really makes us think of one person!

True, but Alexandra followed on from Queen Victoria and was still known as HM The Queen.

I really like Leti’s white dress with the blue shoes. I love the cut and fit, very elegant. I’m not keen on Sophie’s Mary Janes though.
Anne really deserves a high profile role in the Coronation, she would have been a great Queen. I do like Charles though, but I sort of think of Anne almost sharing the monarchy unofficially.

I love the title of 'Gold Stick in Waiting' and yes, Anne will be fantastic in that role.

Oh! I was just going by Letizia's recent long-sleeved outfits but maybe she's one of those people who don't feel the heat.

Max looks great in the lime-green and I like Ariana's purple accents.

It's a lovely tribute to Anne, that her brother has chosen her as his personal bodyguard. I don't fancy a terrorist's chances with her behind the carriage.
