Apart from anything else, the huge pattern on Sophie's dress completely swamps her. It would be more suitable for use as an upholstery fabric.

Not great from EBG either - she's letting me down a bit recently, usually one of my faves!

I like EBG's hippy ethnic block print outfits that she wore a couple of days ago, just right for the climate and the relaxed island vibe.

I’ve been a lurker here for years and years and as a fan of crown Princess Mary I have to say I don’t enjoy the digs at her about her birthday. So what she had lots of celebrations maybe Fred arranged them all for her. I thought this board was all about the fashion and not making digs at the person. Think I will have to leave this board as it’s just goes on and on about her. I’ve enjoyed the pics and comments over the years but tired of recent comments about her now.

I come on here for an occasional look at the British RF. I don't have a clue who the European royals are. I would never dream of telling the regular contributors what they should or shouldn't discuss on their own thread which I occasionally lurk on.

Well quite. I don't think there's any mean-spiritedness about it. And I'm sorry but when you're not even the queen yet and mark your birthday with several parties, portraits and an exhibition about yourself then you do open yourself up to a bit of ribbing!

But as others have said, it's all fairly affectionate and lighthearted compared to some other royalty boards that I know of.

Ah, it’s certainly only a very gentle bit of teasing. There are rarely, if ever, any unpleasant undertones on here, and if any pop up they’re squashed immediately.

Personally, I think the nicknames are gentle and harmless irreverence and nothing personal. Honestly, I think the concept of royalty is a bit outdated, but I love the fashion and chat on here and the nicknames/name shortening make them all more relatable.
I'd definitely be an EBG for months if my family allowed it!😂😂

Cams looks good there. That style has become something of a uniform for her, which is no bad thing. I'm all for finding a style that works and then sticking to the formula.

They all seem to be having a huge amount of fun on the Eurovision set!
Camilla is wearing her Tudor Crown brooch, similar to the cypher Charles has adopted. It's silver, studded with a variety of precious stones, I'm sure it will often be worn in the coming days.
She was also awarded a Blue Peter badge today, so no doubt she is wearing that also!

Is it a gold blue Peter badge? Did she win a competition? I knew who was presenting Blue Peter for years!
