Here we are again, and this time looking forward to the warmer weather , putting away our comfy woolies ( and new season's dresses).

Red gingham dress won’t be either. I’m not sure I can remember what else was in the shop. I’m just passing on what I was told. Apologies if it’s wrong info !

This is upper level sleuthing, toast thread at its finest! I'm guessing the sale will be around june 15th. I've just spent a few hrs today with two pairs of culottes - a really poor choice from a sale pre pandemic. I've tried so much to make them work. I'm finally able to let them go.

I'm surprised they actually divulged such info!

Is it supposed to be a secret ? I thought a few people earlier on in the thread mentioned there was usually a sale in June. I’m sure person on the last Toast live mentioned there would be new drop June/July.

Did anyone get the Elm dress - I think it was last year? Is it very oversized? I’m wondering if I could risk a 10 (usually a 12).

I have finally decided I’m keeping the wrap jumpsuit in the 12. The 10 does fit very neatly but I like the fact the ties are longer in the 12 and more importantly- I can get it off my in a second for any loo emergencies. The 10 is a ‘one shoulder at a time’ job.

No, not a secret at all, we constantly speculate on when the next sale will be, but Toast themselves are usually pretty tight lipped about it.

Ah, Ok. I hope I haven’t divulged anything I shouldn’t. My local Toast is fantastic. I’m a regular and loyal customer. I sometimes even go in just for a chat. I always feel uplifted when I leave.

I think if they advertised an upcoming sale it would slow trade until then which would be bad for business, but we know our purchase history, it's just fun to have it corroborated!!!

I've just googled but can't find a pic of them @Snowyowl78 . They were odd, good thick cotton, but being culottes they were airy so needed summer weather, but with so much heavy fabric i never wanted to wear them in summer. Tried to make them just casual homewear, but again, so much fabric kind of billowing out stiffly around the pleats. I think they were£60. I've made worse mistakes!

That’s lovely. I do wish I lived near a store. I used to be relatively near to Harrogate but now Edinburgh is my nearest and it’s a couple of hundred miles.

@ilovecherries I have the elm dress and I bought the 6 as it is oversized. I mostly pick 8 in dresses but sized down for this one.

Hi @Noodle421 did you happen to see the black coffee linen dress in store?! Or the raffia hat?

Do you like it? I saw Jenny Garcia wearing it with a sweat and thought she looked great but she’s tiny. And I’m more robust with a set of 32Gs.

@ilovecherries I really like the dress, its very flattering and you can define shape with the belt. It's my go to hot day dress and am looking forward to wearing it on my hols next month. I'm no Jenny Garcia shape wise and I'm a 32F.

@MiracleToast I’m sorry I can’t be more helpful but I don’t recall seeing either item, but then I wasn’t exactly having a good browse. I went into the shop on a mission as I knew exactly what I wanted. It is also a quite a small shop floor so not everything is out on view. The dress you mention looks lovely, understated, elegant and classic. I hadn’t noticed it before but am now considering putting it on my wish list …

Thanks for intel :). I woke to a seller offer of 49.99 for it so decided I’d take a punt on it because I’d probably be able to recover that amount reselling it myself if I don’t like it. Excited about it now (and getting weather to wear it)

It will look fab with the hat too.
I can also recommend the liquorice linen dress. It’s already sold out once and has been restocked. It’s so easy to wear and I feel great in it. Can also be layered up in cooler weather. Just purchased it in the cobalt blue too. Hoping they will last years.

Thank you to whoever tipped me off about the new Franca dress up for sale on Vinted. I’ve just bought it. Does anyone own a Franca dress. It looks very plain - easy to dress up I’m guessing.
