Charlene was out at an awards ceremony on Friday, though.

Char has lovely hair and makeup. Great colour of dress, but I don't think it's a flattering style on her personally.

The dress could've looked amazing but the cut isn't right.

Charlene looks lovely, rare to see her smiling. I agree the cut of the dress is all wrong and it looks too big for her.

Well the white tatler dress looks like a loo roll holder.

Charlotte dress makes her look fat, frumpy which we all know is false.

Maybe the lighting, photographers for the rose ball event were just not good

Maybe she’s smiling cos she’s not at the Rose Ball in an ugly Chanel frock. It’s quite the achievement to make such beautiful women look like the Sam Ryder tribute act.

What a strange fit, it looks to big on her and a but bland.

That white Tatler dress looks like something a three year old would make from scrunched up bits of tissue paper, as an Easter card for Grannie!

Chanel has been quite out there for a while @Maireas - just look at Kristen Stewart!

How nice to see Charlene out and about, smiling and engaging with Albert in those photos. I like the understated simplicity of her dress, and it's an interesting fabric.
( But most of all I like her smile!)

Oh, I know, @KillingMeDeftly , and the outfit Charlotte Casiraghi wore with "Chanel" written all over it was a low point.

Alexandra of Hanover looked pretty, and sophisticated and I liked her dress except for the bizarre apples of flesh by her arms. Some mistake in the cut, I think. I think Caroline's outfit is lovely.

It's not a royal wedding but Diana's niece Amelia Spencer got married last week. I don't like her dress - it looks a bit tacky and like something from an 80s soap opera.

She looks perfectly beautiful but agree that I don't like the dress much. It's the bodice that's too 'boudoir' if that makes sense.

Dress is way too fussy, but I am intrigued if that is a fake tan gone wrong or the lighting, it looks pretty extreme if its a tan. 😯

No, I don't think it's particularly tasteful. Also, neither she nor her sister wore the Spencer tiara. I find that strange!
