One of those would probably get the PP dupe but it's not special enough for me to fork out for a full bottle. Blind bought bubble bath and adore it so I'm glad that one worked. Actually I also blind bought lazy Sunday morning, beach walk and funfair evening....

SOTD Shalimar Tonka Imperiale

SOTD Marly Delina. I don't know about this one. Had wanted to try it for ages but, hmmm. It has so many of my favourite notes - rose, peony, vanilla, incense - but I'm not sure I can get past the full-on fruity bubblegum whack of the topnotes. I suppose the curvy pink bottle and pink tassles should have given it away, really

SOTD is the PP version of Santal33. Its a very good copy, I can't tell the difference, they both smell like pencil shavings to me ( which, I like, I hasten to add!)

So many people rave about Delina, don't they? I'm with you, it's such a blousy sort of scent. Ive got a couple of samples of it but I don't love it.

SOTD Lady Tubereuse by Moresque. This is massive in me, it's what I imagine Sybil Fawlty to smell like.

It really is. It's settled now into a more palatable rose-y incense but it's still very sweet. I can't really see what all the fuss is about.

Weirdly, I think it might layer quite well with L'ADDM...might give it a try. Was going to wear another Tauer this morning (Une Rose de Kandahar) but opened the little tin to find it had leaked everywhere and there was nothing left in the bottle <sob>

I confess I am a Delina fan. I have and really enjoy one of the Delina flankers - Delina La Rosee. I think it’s a bit more aquatic and a bit less sweet than the original. Mostly wear it spring/summer though.

@TakeYourHatOffBoy PM me please if you’re looking for a replacement Une Rose de Kandahar. I bought it very recently (having previously had a sample), used it once and unfortunately it caused a skin reaction so I can’t use it now 🙁

SOTD is another PDM that I expect I’m one of the few on this thread to enjoy, Meliora.

Unfortunately no perfume today as I've picked up Norovirus. But just looking for eBay advice here. How long do you give a buyer? It's been over 48 hours & numerous emails here & my buyer still hasn't paid. The issue is postage to Ireland & setting up a postbox.. I think she's spinning me a very plausible yarn & I've already offered to cancel the transaction. But yesterday she said she was waiting on an email & today she will pay. Or it's a very elaborate yarn & I'm the butt of a joke. No eBay history either 🤦🏼‍♀️

I can report that Delina does indeed layer beautifully with LADDM and I'll definitely wear it again this way! @AprilLady I will pm you, thank you.

i must be bored today (or looking for a distraction from work) as I now also have 4160s Oakmossery on the other wrist. This is fab. Very, very tempted by a 15ml. I find 4160T so hit and miss but when Sarah gets it right, she really does get it right. Utterly gorgeous stuff: a proper, grown-up chypre.

@Cantonet hope you feel better soon, norovirus is nasty.

It's very unfortunate I picked up Norovirus now, as I was meant to be visiting my elderly parents for the weekend. They're very down at the moment 😓

By the way, Escentual have 25% off site wide for this weekend. Their prices for 4160T are below the new website prices even before the discount and very well below with the 25% off. They obviously don’t have the full range, but may be worth a look.

SOTN is Shalimar. I seem to be stuck in a perfume rut. ❄️

SOTD is Methexis again. I found myself looking forward to the idea of wearing it again today so maybe that's an indication that it's a keeper?
I'm really surprised as I generally don't get on with fig as a note.

SOTD is Kayali Vanilla , I find it very comforting

SOTD for a walk to the beach in the sunshine is 4160T Warm Sands Blue Ocean. Because I am Captain Obvious.

However it's actually flipping freezing so now I'm home, I need something warmer and cozier.

I also wandered into Saltworks but they had sold out of the discovery sets. Probably a.good thing as I really, really don't need to spend anything more on perfume at least until after payday

Are Saltworks any good? They're all over my instagram but I can't stand the women that advertise them! They look like they all wear Ariana Grande Cloud and just want mega fruity floral beast mode type fragrances.
