SOTD is Shalimar again, for Pancake Day/Shrove Tuesday. Easter is nearly here! 🥞

SOTD is Meøexis by Manos Gerakinis. Another sample. I'm not normally a Fig lover in perfumes but combined with the chocolatey dry down it's quite unusual. I keep sniffing myself, although I'm not sure I love it enough for it to be a 'buy a big bottle' purchase. But I might see if I can find a couple more samples while I make my mind up!

Didn't have pancakes yesterday, but did have enchiladas, which sort of counts!

SOTD is Diesel Fuel for Life. I haven't worn it in years!

pepperaunt I'm also doing random sample SOTD! Today it's Hugo Boss The Scent for her pure accord. An inoffensive floral musk.

It's been awhile since I ve posted but just caught up on everyone's posts. I think as some pp, I ve lost my mojo too a little. Listed and sold off a lot of my collection. Only keeping scents that I absolutely love.

Amouage Gold sample today. I have a tiny sample of the vintage. It's very grande dame & you have to be in the right mood for it. Cold weather also helps.

How many scents are you down to @IIrisApfelRocks ? I'm now down to 39 from over 55.

SOTD is Amber Absolute. I wanted something smoky for Ash Wednesday. ❄️

Have been thinking about early spring scents for cold days.

SotD was L'Extase Rose Absolu which is a great deep jammy rose.

Scents of yesterday (same brief) were: #1 Rome 1963 (retro white flowers, tobacco and sour retsina, and #2 Traversee du Bosphore (apple, leather and rose - this one is perfection).

From doing a quick count in my head 22. Not counting the ones I have listed. Used to have 77. Sold all I liked but didn't love or didn't reach for. It can become obsessive, now I am very careful when I choose the perfume I want to buy next.

SOTD is Miller Harris L'air de rien. Such a good scent for a chilly grey day.

SOTD is the Superdrug TF Santal Blush knockoff. It's really not bad for a tenner!

SOTD BVLGARI Splendida Magnolia Sensuel Eau de Parfum is today's sample.

Had a lunchtime wander round a perfume aisle, tried MMM On A Date. It reminds me of the scent you get when you dissolve jelly cubes, sort of raspberry/blackcurrant. Definitely doesn't smell like any date I've been on...

@Alienbigcat45 I got a sample of On A Date recently. It didn't do much for me at all, tbh.

SOTD has been JHAG Lady Vengeance.

@DramaAlpaca fruity fragrances aren't really my thing so it didn't do anything for me either.

SotD Ambre Sultan. This smells less hippyish than I remember. It's cold here...

Trying a sample of I Want Choo Forever, which came free with something I ordered. Very fruity floral and not my thing but it’s not horrendous. Lasts pretty well too.

I love reading about all your scents and samples. I'm getting so many ideas for things to try. 😊

Early spring is almost its own season I think, much different from the bright sunny days of late April and May. I definitely still crave warm comforting scents while it's cold, but I do want them to be subtly different from the rich and thick perfumes of winter.

@Alltheevennumbers Ambre Sultan is perfect for when you're cold! It wraps itself around you like a soft cashmere jumper.
