Oops! Looks like we ran out of space on the last thread - I hope you all find your way over here.

Anyway, welcome fragrant friends to a shiny new thread!

As always, everyone is very welcome - we're most definitely open to Newbies. Come and discuss your Scent Of The Day (SOTD), old favourites, new infatuations, the best dupes and scents of any price point. We are very friendly! 😊

That's beautiful @Judystilldreamsofhorses We have blossom trees lining our street, but they haven't flowered yet. At least the weather is a bit more spring-like now, though. We had sun this afternoon! 😊🌷🐣

SOTN is Shalimar.

Hi 👋
Felt SO hot today (its my age)
Sotd was pp eau de gucci
Wasn't really right for the weather so I've taken out some of my spring perfumes (no doubt it'll be a beast from the east next week, sorry!)
4160tuesdays has brought out a new "queen" perfume - pirate queen.
I won't be partaking as its leather, rum and aquatic 🤢

@FestivelyScent funnily enough we have a whole street of them too, and none are out! I was out on a trip with some students and saw this one about 20 minutes walk away - an early bird.

sOTD Commodity Moss.

I should probably get round to swapping my fragrances for the season too - it definitely feels like spring is here now.

@Mimosa08 That pp eau de Gucci sounds wonderful - I might add a small bottle to try next time I make an order.

SOTD is Knowing, it felt right for the weather.

I picked up a discovery set from Maison Crivelli.

SOTD on my right - Rose Saltifolia. A really beautiful green, salty rose. I love this, projection and longevity aren’t great but the scent is just so beautiful. I’m not a big rose fan but this one really speaks to me.

On my left, Iris Malikhan. A sweet (but not overly so), intoxicating, intriguing Iris / orris , vanilla, leather combo. For me, it dries down to a lovely soft, comforting chocolate like scent. Obsessed!

Office friendly spring scent today: OJ Sakura.

Nice choice @AprilLady I have that. It is indeed office friendly (i.e subtle.) Worth overspraying IMO.

By the way perfumistas, I picked up a bottle of Kylie Darling in Bodycare for 7.99 and am jolly pleased with it! It doesn't last long but it's a fab fruity floral that's not on the syrupy side. Definite Lychee in there somewhere.

@MissBattleaxe I did indeed spray more than usual! It’s subtle, but does seem to have decent longevity.

Having got a better than expected bonus this month, I splurged on this:

Can’t wait to start reading it.

@AprilLady good choice. He is the last word on perfume as far as I'm concerned. Luca Turin is too bitchy and critical.

I think that's why I love your blog...you're never nasty or disparaging about a perfume.
We all like different things and even perfumes I dislike I can understand that they are well made and good quality.

I went a bit mad in Zara the other day so SOTD is Golden Decade. Lovely orange and orange blossom -warm but not heavy. Doesn't seem to last five minutes and the bottle is too big to put in my handbag so I now can't smell it at all.
