Oops! Looks like we ran out of space on the last thread - I hope you all find your way over here.
Anyway, welcome fragrant friends to a shiny new thread!
As always, everyone is very welcome - we're most definitely open to Newbies. Come and discuss your Scent Of The Day (SOTD), old favourites, new infatuations, the best dupes and scents of any price point. We are very friendly! 😊

I had the pleasure of some in store sniffing today. I tried the new Diptyque -L’ eau Papiere. Definitely got the cooked rice note (though not sure why I want that in a perfume!) and not a whole lot else. I see reviews comparing it to JHAG Not a perfume and Le Labo Another 13, neither of which do much for me, so probably not surprising this doesn’t either.
I had more luck with some Chanel Exclusifs. I was expecting to love Le Lion, but was somewhat ambivalent. On the other hand, I can see why Coromandel is their best seller from the range. Hours later I’m really enjoying the lovely ambery dry down. A surprise strong like was Beige: has anyone tried this? I’d be interested in views?
The lovely shop assistant gave me some samples too - Jersey, Sycomore and Le Lion - so I’ll give Le Lion a proper trial soon too.

Happy Mothering Sunday to those who are celebrating, and 💐 and warm thoughts to those finding it difficult.
I love an instore sniff session @AprilLady Have to go up to London if I want anything worth sniffing though. Luckily, it's not too far. Le Lion and Coromandel are two of my Chanel favourites. I have them as samples, but sadly can't wear them atm as they irritate my migraines.
SOTD is Tart's Knicker Drawer - it seems to go with the cheerful spring-like feel today. We definitely seem to have turned a corner with the weather. 🌷🐇🐣

Hello, I have totally fallen off this thread - how are we all doing? My TikTok addiction needs to stop, so here I am, and I also need to quit reaching for the Escentric 01 every day and neglecting all my other perfumes. Today I'm in Chanel 19. I ordered a sample set from this brand last night - has anyone tried anything from them? I read about them on Who, What, Wear and thought it all sounded quite intriguing.
