Oops! Looks like we ran out of space on the last thread - I hope you all find your way over here.

Anyway, welcome fragrant friends to a shiny new thread!

As always, everyone is very welcome - we're most definitely open to Newbies. Come and discuss your Scent Of The Day (SOTD), old favourites, new infatuations, the best dupes and scents of any price point. We are very friendly! 😊

SOTD was JHAG Musc Invisible.

SOTE is Replica Whispers in the Library. I heard it was discontinued so I snapped up a bottle and it arrived today.

I was clearly in the mood for subtle skin scents today.

Having an iris-heavy day so far with Etui Noir shower gel and SotD Violet Ida. It's actually a bit chilly for this...

@FestivelyScent I have that Marple book on my TBR pile - is it good?

SOTD Mitsouko. If I had to keep only 5 perfumes, this would definitely be one of them.

SOTD is Aerin Cedar Violet. I wanted something comforting but not too heavy, and this fits the bill today.

Aerin too, but the Ambrette de Noir one.

@AprilLady I totally agree about Mitsouko. It took me a few goes before I "got" it, but I won't be parted from it now. EDP for preference.

My SOTD lately has been Issey Miyake A Scent. It's getting scarce now but it's one of the loveliest green spring perfumes ever. It has a few notes in common with Gucci Envy if you're missing that. (I am!)

@AprilLady Yes! I didn't expect it to be very good, but I'm actually really enjoying it. The authors have kept to the Christie style but with their own spin, and have captured Marple quite well. The mysteries themselves are all rather clever and keep you guessing, just like a good mystery should.

P. S. I love Mitsouko too! 😊

*With their own perspective, that's supposed to say, not spin.

@FestivelyScent thank you, started the book last night, and enjoying it so far.

SOTD SL Chergui, for something a bit different. Haven’t worn it for a while, and now wondering why - it’s lovely.

Oooh! Chergui! Haven't tried that in nearly ten years. I remember liking it though. It reminded me of a former dried flower/pot pourri shop in Exeter. It smelled amazing in there.

Another one trying to manifest Spring here. Ffern Summer 2019 - fresh citrussy incense. My la fille de berlin is empty & the Rose Savon de marseille is all used up. So i've cracked open a bottle of Lemon Verbena Savin Marseille to kick-start the morning fresh feel.

Horrible wet day here so didn't feel much like spring.
SOTD Lost in the desert (I think?) a decanted sample. Smells like burnt rubber and vanilla on me.

I also thought it might be more spring-like today. Optimistically decided not to wear my thermals this morning, seeing as the weather forecast said warmer temps. Thankfully, I chickened out at the last minute, but even with my thick vests I was still cold in the wind.

SOTD is Shalimar, for going shopping for Mother's Day. 🌷

It’s wet, rainy and cold here too.

Pretending it’s spring though with SOTD EL Pleasures. Still pretty and unique. I wore this a lot in my mid twenties, when it first came out. It brings back lots of memories of a very different time in my life.

I layered up today - thermal vest, shirt, cashmere, jacket. I was so hot I had to strip off the layers in the M&S cubicle.
We had no wind here & the temperature felt so much warmer. Sotd is Private Collection white moss & jasmine
