Is this dress ok for a first date?

I don't know why I've bothered to hide my face as if you know me you know me!

I got this website recommended and ordered this dress, they send the wrong colour as if orders blue. But I think the green is nice too!

Honest opinions on it for first date 😬

Are you usually a glam type? This feels like a lot for a first date but if you like it the dress looks good on you!

I think the fact you've known him for a while makes a difference actually. I wouldn't worry about someone I'd known talking to my boobs 😄

I’m surprised with the comments saying it’s a bit too much or they’d dress down a bit.

I would happily wear something like this even if I’m just going for a pub meal with my friends.

You look great and very glam. I personally find it a bit too much and would probably tone it down with a leather jacket, chunky boots and a relaxed hairdo, but it's a matter of personal taste.

I'd say it's a bit formal too. More a works Christmas party dress, than a first date dress, unless it is a formal do.

I think you look absolutely gorgeous, but this look with the split and the really low cut is too try-hard and maybe a bit desperate. Why not save this look for when you’ve been on a few dates. I would play it way more casual to start with. You need to feel confident and if I were wearing that dress I would feel on show.

For a formal restaurant its lovely but do check it is that dressy, in recent years even very expensive restaurants have become very casual especially in the south
