Why is a proper cool toned lipstick so hard to find these days?

Anything with a hint of warmth is useless on me and makes me look very 'odd' 🙄 Even MAC doesn't have anything suitable, they're all too warm or too nude.

I got a Bourjois one this morning which I think will be ok, properly pink.

Primark used to be fantastic for lip crayons which were fantastic pinky nudes but no more 🙄

Am I missing somewhere obvious I should be looking? Even Rimmel Asia is no good for me but Soft Hearted is.

I have found a PERFECT shade !! Milani 89 Naked in Superdrug. £9 but get a second on half price. There's another beautiful cool darker pink which was no good for me but sooooo beautiful,very like the BB Blue Raspberry. Raced back to the car, tried it and it's lovely BUT has a weird taste reminiscent of my teen years, I think Constant Carol lip gloss watermelon flavour. Anyway, it's wearing off quickly thank God.

I looked for the Max Factor lip glossy things but they didn't have any so I'll keep looking.

I have that ,thank you, Soft Hearted is better on me than Asia. It's nearly right! 🤣

The best ones I've found were some of the bareminerals coloured lip glossed that have a high amount of pigment. I've got a couple from them.

Still searching for a proper lipstick though.

The colour is nothing like the one in the photo,it's a violet pinky nude, VERY cool.

Brave is too warm ,but thank you. My friend works for Mac, we've been through them all, all warm and the ones that aren't looks awful.

Revolution have some great ones. Unfortunately I can't recall any names right now, I'll check my collection when I go upstairs.

I also have a couple by Huda. But they're liquid lip, so whilst the colour is perfect....they are awful to wear.

Bit of a wildcard but anyone tried Rimmel heather shimmer? ( a blast from the past!)

I bought mine on ebay. Another pink one is Starlight Coral. It isn't coral its pink, its even on the Max Factor pink tones list.

When you say 'cool toned' do you mean - and this is not meant as an insult - almost dead/hypothermic?
Cool mauve is my holy grail for nude lipstick.

Yes a definite dirty lavender mauve not a red mauve.

Just ordered a max factor gloss on Amazon for £3.70 what bargain !

Or a blue toned pink with no hint of warmth or coral.

I will go through my make-up bag when I get home.

I'll never forget my pinky brown lipstick from miss selfridge back in the 90's it was the most perfect r shade and I've never come close to finding another!

@twilightcafe hypothermia is my usual look (red head, blue undertones)
Stila baci suits me but loads of people complained it makes them look sick
