I'm having cheek fillers tomorrow- have you had them and what did you think of the results?

Having fillers tomorrow because I have a long face and as I've aged and have even less fullness in my face, people keep thinking I'm secretly a man. Grin And I look old for my age.

I had some fillers in a couple of lines or something a few years ago, but there wasn't much of a result.

Having more this time so hopefully it'll make more of a difference.

Have any of you had them and what did you think of your results?

Absolutely love mine. It transformed my face. They are very subtle but I look so much better - younger less jolly and prettier.

AnnaForbes · 22/01/2023 22:44

Sorry, less jowly!

OldFan · 22/01/2023 22:58

@AnnaForbes I know everyone's different but how often do you personally have to have them redone? Or haven't you needed to yet?

I had it done in May then i had a little bit more in November.

I had lip filler in May too (also subtle but brilliant) and that is still good so I'll probably have it redone around march/April.

Done, will maybe post pics in a few days after the swelling's gone down. She had a bit left over so put it in the lips. I must say that was painful. Shock

I think you are nuts to mess with your face.

OldFan · 23/01/2023 23:45

@talkingmorenonsense You haven't seen the state it was in. 😂

I didn't have much to lose. Grin

Very expensive and hardly noticeable after a couple of days.

RandomersAssociation · 24/01/2023 04:59

Well you’ve already had it done, so … Grin

I hope it went well, but do be cautious and exercise restraint. I saw an actress I admire for her acting - helped by an expressive face - on TV the other day. Almost unrecognisable because of the plumping up of her face. Weirdly it can make someone look, not so much younger or better, but like a child version of themselves. Shock

OldFan · 24/01/2023 15:59

All we can do is pray :) I think any weird looking results could be if people have too much of it done, maybe more than the normal amount. But hopefully I'll get visible (in a good way) results.

Hi troops I probably got a bit fatter in the face too lol but this is a before, and a week and a half after having it done. Some of the pics when it was more swollen were actually better as it took the lines to either side of my mouth/nose out (which I'm getting done next, in a couple of weeks.))

I suppose having a bin behind me undercuts any glam lol

You look lovely before AND after!

Consider growing out your fringe to a sweepy side fringe to curl around your face?

Enjoy!

Dreamscomingtrue · 03/02/2023 15:16

I think that it suits you, definitely makes you look like you have more defined cheekbones now.

kissthegirlshesnotbehindthedoor · 03/02/2023 15:17

I want my cheeks done but too scared! Well done!

Dreamscomingtrue · 03/02/2023 15:18

As another poster said maybe grow your fringe a bit longer and/or feather it a bit more so it’s less heavy.

Sugaspunsista · 03/02/2023 15:20

I honestly can't see a difference. I think you looked great in both pics.
Agree with previous posters regarding your hair. I think your fringe makes your face look longer.
I hope you are happy with the results though as that is all that matters

TheDarrellRivers · 03/02/2023 15:21

You look fantastic OP
I know that you haven’t asked, but I love the fringe…

Dejavu23 · 03/02/2023 15:29

I can’t see the difference sorry except your top lip looks fuller.

(I had it done myself by three different people, including a dentist, and it was barely noticeable after a few days.)

Stepuptowardsinfinity · 03/02/2023 15:37

You look very nice OP. I'm usually very anti fillers but you look brighter and younger. How old are you if I may ask?

Puravida23 · 03/02/2023 15:51

You look fab . I can definitely see the difference especially around the cheek area and it was a good call with the lips , they look great. Was it really expensive?

EdiePotts · 03/02/2023 16:12

I think the lipstick makes all the difference, OP.

wtfisgoingonhere21 · 03/02/2023 16:18

I'm trying to shrink
Mine 🤦‍♀️

Need to get some weight off as I'm looking like a friggin moomin in the face 😂
