That block tie dyed skirt caught my eye too

@AFingerofFudge love the dress, I'm still debating the pinafore one. 50 today and have had TOAST vouchers so may go in for another look. That green tie dress looks lovely too.

Happy birthday for yesterday❤️❤️
Toast vouchers are the best

My check trousers in a small.
Slightly neat on the waist but better than the dropped crotch. These are a small.

Has anyone bought the Fracap Ola sandals ? I’m very tempted but wonder if the black might look a little heavy in the summer. I usually go for a lighter sandal but I’m not so keen on the brown in this style. Any feedback gratefully received.

happysoju · 17/02/2023 22:04

@Noodle421 I did! I found them more narrow than Fracap's usual sizing (and I already have narrow feet) and like you said, the black on black was a bit harsh. Ended up returning them and ordered a custom pair in brown from Fracap instead.

Noodle421 · 17/02/2023 22:23

Ah, ok. Good to know, thank you for your feedback. I saw them on a shop assistant last year and thought they looked lovely but they might not look so good on me !

dudsville · 18/02/2023 10:38

I'm envious of these red check trouser purchases!!!!! Looks great @neveradullmoment99 👍

Stoic123 · 18/02/2023 12:17

After all the debate on renewed items, thought I'd report back.

I bought the renewed loop back jumper in green. The mend made no difference either way to my purchasing decision. I like the loopback stuff and missed the green one first time round/loved the colour. I can't remember seeing it in a sale, so didn't have the same aversion to price as some of the other items which I've recently seen sold much cheaper.

So - I'm keeping it. The top looks brand new other than the mend which is less obtrusive and more attractive in real life. I can't make out the damage underneath at all. The green colour really suits me.

I do think that Toast shouldn't be charging the original price when an item has since been reduced. As delivery and returns are free for everyone on the renewed items, folks can take a punt on quality.

Good to know. Can you post a picture? The idea isnt bad but the price is ridiculous. You had different reasons for purchasing in the sense you had missed out on when it was in stock the last time round. Not like you had to justify anything to any of us! but that makes sense. :)

Thanks. Wore yesterday and popped on today!!!

Snowyowl78 · 18/02/2023 16:22

@Stoic123 they never went into the sale- always full price

Countmeout · 18/02/2023 16:24

I can understand buying something you really want @Stoic123 . I would be tempted by something I really wanted but had missed out on and probably not necessarily balk at the price.

@neveradullmoment99 - missed the good light but hope this is reasonable pic. Struggling to see preview of post for some reason.

It is a beautiful colour @Stoic123 . I hadn't seen it either. I wonder if it was a sample, because it's in the colour range they're using at the moment?

Has anyone else noticed a whole load of Toast robes on Ebay? Similarly, I've never seen any of them before at Toast. They're all BNWT and priced quite well (for Toast) - lots of wonderful colours there too

Stoic123 · 18/02/2023 17:04

@faustina - had a look- very strange. That dark pink one is scrumptious.

faustina · 18/02/2023 17:08

I have my eye on the orange one but I can't justify it as I bought a new summer robe last summer!

Stoic123 · 18/02/2023 17:16

I'm trying to figure out why I really need a bed jacket (having not considered one till now).

Gorgeous orange material.

Has someone bought an auction lot of old Toast stock perhaps? I have this one in burgundy reddish colour. It was the first thing I bought from Toast about 2018. It was in their sale. Someone had recommended Toast for dressing gowns on Mumsnet and so I looked them up. Look where that’s led me too 😳.

it's interesting isn't it - there are a few sellers (all business ones) so there must have been quite a few to shift!

I wonder how you find out about job lots of clothing?

Snowyowl78 · 18/02/2023 21:16

The green one was in the normal stock, I have it- they put it on at the same time as the charcoal one, not sure why it’s now not available

Snowyowl78 · 18/02/2023 21:22

I went to a real life shop today for the first time (aside from Kilver Court). I found the asking for sizes for everything a bit stressful so I didn’t try on as much as I might as I got a bit tired of asking for stuff. Loved all the dresses I tried but I’m going to wait for the sale as I think (hope!) they will be reduced. Got my eye on the crinkled checked one with the sleeves, the lined gathered river one and the Bryn neck tie- all lovely. Sizing on dresses, I really didn’t think they were any different. However I bought the mariner tshirt and ended up with a L for that so conclude that they are a bit smaller than usual.

Noodle421 · 18/02/2023 22:12

The Cotton Linen Canvas Peacoat in Stone is very very lovely. It didn’t catch my eye online ( looked a bit wide and angular - I’m more into slim A line), but I tried it in store and loved it immediately. Beautiful colour and fit. I’m usually a Toast size 10 or a small but I bought this in a medium. There is room for a jumper underneath, the small would have been too tight a fit over my bust when the button is fastened. I’ve been looking for a transitional season coat/trench for ages and this it it ! Fills a big gap in my wardrobe.

MiracleToast · 19/02/2023 08:39

@Countmeout @faustina very interesting. Tempted by the dusty pink - I wonder if it’s the same as the double cotton dusty pink...
