As we've said before, Mathilde is strangely ageless. I think she's looked the same for ages, and will continue to look the same for some time to come. I remember seeing a really beautiful photo of her when I was reading something about one of the Belgian tiaras (Nine Provinces?). I'm going to look for it.

I've managed to get my hands on a free copy of Spare and though I will stick to the thread motto of not discussing it here, I will mention one fashion-related tidbit and thats Diana's habit of dressing W&H in matching outfits. Harry says they often looked like the twins in Alice in Wonderland and I can't say I disagree. The blue coats! And is Harry wearing mary-janes??

I think it's mainly her hair and styling that ages her. She's looked 50 since she was 30 and will prob continue to look it until 70!

While we are talking about weddings rather than the book, can we revisit Meghan's dress? There are two schools of thought- one that it fitted badly and two that couture is supposed to skim the body lightly. Would love to hear the collective wisdom of this thread.

The former King Constantine of Greece has died. He has looked quite unwell for ages. I feel sorry for Anne Marie, they have been together (and seemed very close) since she was 16. Her sisters are also both widowed though, and so can hopefully be a helpful support.

Oh I saw that Queen Sofia (Constantine's sister) had flown to Athens a few days ago. He has been ill for some time, poor soul.

@StartupRepair I'm clearly no expert but I remember thinking Meghan's wedding dress seemed too loose, not that flattering and the veil seemed a bit much.
The evening halterneck wedding dress on the other hand was absolute knockout. I really thought it was fabulous, the fit was spot on and the halterneck style was inspired.
