H&B advent calendar - opening!

I know last year's was a bit disappointing but I still decided to get one as theres been a few products over the last couple of years I've loved.

I don't think theres a thread for this so far, if there is please point me in the right direction.

If not then I'll kick off by saying I'm pleased with Door 1. I always like to try new cleansers and i love the eyecream from this brand.

I like today's. This kind of vaguely 'hippyish' thing is why I get the H&B calendar and not an M&S one!

I was having a look at the gua thingy and my cat came over to see what I had. I held it out for him to investigate and he rubbed it all over his face. I swear he used it the way the instructions say to do, he rubbed it on his forehead and chin etc.

So suffice to say I’m a big fan and take back anything negative I said about it 😂

😂 @purplewolfie your cat obviously isn’t in need of spiritual healing like mine is.

I did start by saying ‘it’s rose quartz, do like it?’ maybe that’s the trick.

I've really enjoyed the calendar (with the exception of box Jenga). However, I did get it reduced and I've not had it before.

Okay, I'm going to admit that now I've tried the gua sha thingy I actually rather like it! But not enough to forgive that heinous eye mask 😆

Today's is better and smells lovely. I love a face mask so will be put to good use.

Today’s is £1.20 worth. The full size (100ml) is £6 and currently bogof if anyone is interested.

I’m struggling to be impressed with these tiny versions. I’m pretty sure we got the turmeric version of this in a previous year but then got an amazing pot of gold face mask too.

I think it's the same brand. Can't remember what the scent was

Just checked it was lavender and petitgrain last year so yes a different scent.

Happy we've had nothing lavender scented this year at least

Me too! I got it reduced (I think £35) and I'm happy with it. Has the kind of content I'd expect for H&B on the basis of their in-shop beauty section.

It has got better for me over the last few days. I'm a crystal lover anyway, and 2 days ago I had a headache that was helped by running a cold stone over my face 😂 a facemask is the sort of thing I would have expected to have found in a H&B advent calendar, and I can't stop sniffing this candle!

The 25th had better be a full size product!

Today's they always have loads of at the till in store trying to upsell so I'm not surprised it features in their calender. It's ok, nothing exciting
