H&B advent calendar - opening!

I know last year's was a bit disappointing but I still decided to get one as theres been a few products over the last couple of years I've loved.

I don't think theres a thread for this so far, if there is please point me in the right direction.

If not then I'll kick off by saying I'm pleased with Door 1. I always like to try new cleansers and i love the eyecream from this brand.

Happy with today's box. I like an eyecream but one for day time can irritate my eyes so I like this one is for night time. I also really like this brand and have used a few things from them that I've always enjoyed.

Today's was the first exciting one for me. I've not got a good evening beauty routine sorted so I'm hoping this will be something to kick-start one.

Eye cream is always handy. Well it is at my age anyway!

I use the eye cream anyway, it's a good one.

I like the idea of eye cream. Just always forget about it 😶

Definitely happy with this one and will use it like the Rose Otto products

I am liking the unfragranced nature of these things, means I can actually use them! Will try to remember to use this one.

I love an eye serum so happy today. Clearly didn't read the box though as didn't realise it was an evening cream, I put it on this morning. It's nice but I prefer the coffee one from last year's calender

I used the eye cream before make up this afternoon and it was fine. Not too heavy or greasy.

Taking out today’s huge item caused my calendar to collapse on itself. I enjoyed rebuilding it though.

Very happy with the bath salts. Frankincense again so will go with our oil.

Yes!! Mine completely collapsed as well. Ho hum!

Today's is a nice item, I don't particularly like bath salts but my husband does so it'll go in a stocking filler for his Christmas!

Again I'm just glad it's not lavender scented. Looking forward to trying them out, I quite like bath salts

That's two frankincense things. I know I'm in a twatty mood today but I hope that's all the frankincense there's going to be!

I like today's. I've had it before in a previous advent calendar, and it was one of the first things I used up :)

Ive had it before as well. It was either Glossybox or Look Fantastic. Along with the stress spray. Strange we're getting items that other calendars have used before. Have they got them cheap somewhere!
It's a nice product though and I will use it.

I'm delighted with today's. Had it in a previous Holland and Barrett calendar, loved it, forgot the brand and have been trying to remember it to repurchase ever since!

Oh was it Holland & Barrett previously. Not keen on that, them using the same products. Feels a bit lazy

Could someone tell me how best to use today's please? I'm a serum virgin😕

I’m a big fan of today’s. Received it in a H&B calendar previously and bought it again afterwards.

@purplewolfie I use it after toner or if using vit C then after that. Then continue with other products as normal.

I've just had a pamper session with all the products Ive got so far and my skin is glowing!

Not sure I'll use today's as there's no space in my routine. Have to remind myself I only paid £35 for the calendar though!

Yes! I did!

Delighted with the serum though as I'd just run out of my usual.

To this who don't know quite what to do with the serum - i use it instead of moisturiser in the summer, and before moisturiser in winter.

I used it before moisturiser yesterday and my skin felt lovely. Regret giving the first bottle i had to my husband!

Happy with today's item. I use the brushes in previous boxes regularly and always seem to lose this type of brush so its nice to have a spare.
