I'm hoping others will join me to discuss liberty advent calendar. In line with other threads 0700 earliest for the days contents?

Out of interest, I think I got a different mascara to most of you yesterday, the lash curling one rather than the volume one. Did anyone else?

I do bath very regularly, and go through plenty of bath oil, so for me it’s a good drawer as I’m always happy to try a different one.

H1Drangea · 15/12/2022 08:41

Quite pleased with todays ( even I can’t detect as scent as I have the cold from hell that’s doing the rounds ) I’m having a new bathroom fitted. , so even though I generally shower I’m making it a new bathroom resolution to have a long soaker type bath once a week

Lotsofpots · 15/12/2022 09:01

I love a long bath, and loved the shower gel from the brand, so it's bang on for me.

pepperaunt · 15/12/2022 09:09

But if a disappointment for me as, like PP, I hate feeling obliged to clean the oil ring off of the tub immediately after my bath

marmiteadict · 15/12/2022 09:46

@AprilLady there were two different Trish McEvoy mascaras you could get. Both were tubular but one was lash curling and the other high volume

TabithaTittlemouse · 15/12/2022 10:54

@AprilLady I’ll have a look in a bit. I used it yesterday and whatever one I got was okay although didn’t compare to the Charlotte tilbury one that I usually use. I will use it up though.

I’m happy with todays. Good excuse for a bath later!

Sameiam · 15/12/2022 11:53

I got the lash curling one. Seemed nice enough, though my maybelline £8 one gets the same look.

I don’t think I’ve taken a bath in the last 20 years so unsure what to use this for. Maybe I’ll try as showergel? Or donate to mil Christmas sock.

petitebleu · 15/12/2022 12:33

@Zoetrope1 good idea! Thanks!

BurningTheToast · 15/12/2022 12:42

Quite pleased with the bath oil - new bathroom is being fitted after Christmas and I can’t wait to lounge in my lovely new bath, steeping in this.

Stunned at the price though - the full size is just about twice the size of this and is £85. £85! Do people - normal people - actually spend that on 100ml of bath oil? It’s bordering on obscene.

marmiteloversunite · 15/12/2022 17:02

I got a reply from Liberty customer services about my two missing items. They are sending them to me plus a few extras. Happy with that. Just had to give them my order number.

WeAreBorg · 15/12/2022 18:24

Thanks for the price update on the bath oil - I’m going to try it TONIGHT and would’ve tipped thirty quids worth in easy, however I shall be more restrained. Hope it cures my disgustingly dry skin.

I used the mascara and collagen oil today - thought both were great! Although I need a bulkier brush for mascara, I like a really grippy brush that nearly pulls your lashes out

AprilLady · 15/12/2022 18:55

@BurningTheToast I have spent nearly that (c£70) on a large bottle of a Olverum bath oil, as part of the qualifying spend for a GWP. In my defence, that was for 250ml which is easily 50 baths’ worth, and it is still my favourite by some margin. Cost per bath is far more reasonable than say, a Lush bath bomb costing £5.

Babysharkdoodoodood · 15/12/2022 19:24

I've got an overnight at a hotel on Saturday so I'll be taking the oil with me. Don't have to clean off the oil ring then. 😂

Love the Olverum bath oil, though since I’ve moved I have no bath to soak in, which is a real shame..used to love using the Neom candle body oil afterwards too…

Todays is a twofer again. One of the products I thought was something else until I opened it. Will try it later and the other thing at some point this weekend.

EasterIssland · 16/12/2022 06:42

Face mask and?

EasterIssland · 16/12/2022 06:43

Blimey the face mask is worth £90

marmiteadict · 16/12/2022 06:47

Buildable lip colour. Not keen on the colour personally but it is quite neutral so should suit most.

countdowntonap · 16/12/2022 06:53

Very excited with today’s! Really like the shade!
Thought no real spoilers before 7am though?

I didn’t know that rule so apologies I just open drawers and come to the thread to talk about it

notanicepersonapparently · 16/12/2022 07:15

Today we have an MZ Skin Hydra-lift Gold Face mask worth £19 based on the price for a pack of 5 on the Liberty website, and a Surratt lipslick worth £32. Our running total has risen to £549. Will we get to £1,000+ by Christmas Day? I just don’t know.

Cinnamonandcoal · 16/12/2022 08:01

I would never buy the mask but I'll give it a go sometime.
Lipstick I like. It's quite shiny, a bit retro, but looks surprisingly good on

Lotsofpots · 16/12/2022 08:04

Good thing I came to the thread. I only took out the face mask so will have to head back and look for the lipstick!

LizardTrucks · 16/12/2022 08:13

I didn’t realise that was a lipstick, I thought it was a mini mascara, I couldn’t read the brand either 🤦🏻‍♀️

I like the colour though and I do enjoy a good facemask, so pleased with today’s.

bravelittletiger · 16/12/2022 08:22
