Liberty advent calendar opening thread 2022

I'm hoping others will join me to discuss liberty advent calendar. In line with other threads 0700 earliest for the days contents?

Today's was timely. My lips are so dry and chapped. I'm enjoying the calendar. It was a present from my husband so no clue what's coming up. The teen daughter will benefit from anything I don't want so jobs a good 'un.

Hmm. Today’s product is ‘out of stock’ on many websites, including Liberty. Is this more ‘end of line’ stock being shifted through the calendar?

I like this. It looks like it's available on Amazon although out of stock on their own website.
It's massive for a lip balm but I guess that's just more product really, and it does say you can use on cheeks to protect skin when it's very cold.
Feels moisturising but not sticky.

Lovely big stick of L A Bruket Lip balm. Nothing could be more useful in this weather. I’ve used it straight away. For @SpongeBobJudgeyPants and anyone else who’s interested here is the value update. By day 10 we were up to £284 by my calculations. This retails for £12 at Liberty making the total to date £296.

Crickey, that’s a chunk of a lip balm! Very useful though, I have multiple lip balms on the go all over the place - especially at this time of year.

I can't excited about a lip balm, although it certainly is very timely with this cold snap.

Todays is very exciting. New product for me, i generally use the laneige products, really looking forward to seeing how I get on with todays item.

On another note... highly recommended those who have fine fly away hair to try a smidge of the Larry King product from a few days ago, generally I shy away from hair products, my hair becomes limp and greasy. However, this really worked! Removed static, stopped flyaway. I used a tiny smidge as have hair just above shoulders and a day later my hair is still feeling good

My hair turns into a frizzy mess at the drop of a hat. Well, literally! Drop a hat on my hat and I become a cast member in the live action remake of the Hair Bear Bunch...

A hair product that gives me bouncy waves and curls for more than a few minutes is the holy grail! I'll try it later on!

I love today’s lip balm. It’s not at all greasy like some.

Very happy today. Smells lush, very moisturising. It's a win!

Nice lip balm, it’s gone in the pocket of my dog walking coat.

A bit late for yesterday but am getting annoyed with the number of hair products. Also, with this in particular, I refuse to either waste the hot water or wait around in a (very) cold bathroom for the required 5 minutes. Very happy with a new lip balm to try, as I tend to leave one in all of my bags

My youngest has already confused it for a Pritt Stick though so will hide it in my pockets

Very happy with todays, used it straightaway and it feels great.

Tragic I applied it to damp hair with my head tipped upside down to make sure I only applied to ends and and not hair in direct contact with scalp. Hope that makes sense?!

I love the lip balm. It's my favourite offering so far

Personally a bit disappointed about the lip balm. I usually wear lip balm with a bit of colour (cos I’m lazy and it saves applying lipstick!) Other than that I don’t really use lip balm and it definitely doesn’t excite me.

I use lip balm as a primer under my lipstick.

I can report that my dry, damaged hair loves the Sam McNight hair mask so very happy here. I like the lip balm today as well. Their hand cream in the last Beauty Drop was also really good so I'm tempted to investigate the brand a bit more.

Todays smells good!

Unhappy today. Those damn AA rollerballs have been dished out every year for what feels like forever. I don't like AA at the best of times. Think I'd rather have more Bamford hand wash (and that's saying something!)
