I think I might be alone in loving the candle. It isn't particularly festive but I love the scent. I'm generally pleased with all the other bits too (bar the cruddy Bamford).

Unless it majorly ups it's game, I will not be repurchasing again next year.
It's been extremely disappointing.

Another disappointment. I'm looking forward to the 14 full size products we are supposed to find in the next 15 drawers though, as we've only had two so far, out of the 16 promised.

Bloody hell - more hair toot! I love Philip Kingsley Elasticizer and have just bought some milk shake hair stuff as recommended on the Christmas thread and now I’ve got about a years worth of oil/mask/etc etc to use. Surely they should have spaced it out better too.

ive got another calendar and got shampoo and conditioner today which was far more welcome as it will actually be used.

While I agree the calendar has been rather haircare heavy, I think I’m in the minority in being quite pleased with today’s. It’s a pretty new release from the brand, and while it calls itself a “mask” reading the instructions you just leave it in for 5 minutes after washing, so in reality it’s just a conditioner and so no hassle to use in place of regular conditioner when you want a deeper treatment. It claims to seal split ends, which is something of a stretch, but I’m very willing to give it a go.

I did a lot of research before I bought my calendars and chose this one specifically because it’s skincare and haircare heavy and because it has a perfume from my favourite brand. But I guess for those who buy blind wanting the element of surprise, it might be disappointing to receive so many hair care products.

Me too @Zoetrope1 . I researched beforehand and wanted Liberty because of the hair and skin care. My hair loves a deep hair mask/conditioner so this was one I was looking forward to trying, a good drawer for me.

I'm really pleased with the hair mask - I like hair products though. I would like some make up to appear soon!

My hair is pretty dry and curly, so a mask is something I benefit from. Might even do what I do with Olaplex 3 and leave it on all night. @notanicepersonapparently I love hearing the value of the calender contents to date, personally.

Ha, I knew there would be disappointment for today's offering. I mean, my hair is quite dry and I love a product but there's only so much I can lather on. The only saving grace is that DD and I are sharing this calendar so at least we get even dibs on the haircare. (But I don't think I'll get this again next year, beauty box account or no.)

Please can I ask that people don't add spoilers here or repeat spoilers others have said. It's really unfair for those of us who are looking forward to opening it each day.

I was really disappointed to read the spoilers this morning, I’ve been so good at not reading the thread until after I’ve opened the box.

@MyCatsSlave same here. I think I'll not bother with the thread anymore because I really don't want it spoilt again! I've never had a Liberty calendar before and it's a massive treat for me to have one (even if some of the drawers have been disappointing) so I don't want it ruined.

Confused about the spoiler. What spoiler? Surely no one comes on here till they've opened for the day or have I misunderstood.

I am getting fed up with the moaning though.
I think a good chunk of us check the contents briefly before we buy, and if we care so much and buy for ourselves we should check shouldn't we? If it's a gift be grateful?
I'm having a shitty shitty day. I have a relative coming to live with me today who's been in a terrible accident and still in plaster, and my tumble drier just packed up before the laundry got sorted this lunchtime.

Some good reviews would cheer me up of a morning. I love the excited reveals and chit chat.

I think my issue with the hair products, is that they’re all of a type - conditioning, masks, oil and so on. None of that works for my very fine, coloured hair, it just looks flat regardless of the product’s price point. More variety would have been better. Still, my son’s female friends fell upon my rejects very happily!

On a more positive note for @supadupapupascupa, the Venn product is making my skin very happy and I love the Sunday Riley eye cream. And I’m one of the small group who love the tomato leaf candle.
