Sunday Riley CEO vitamin C serum today. RRP £70. This was one of the products that made me want this calendar.

Annoyingly no matter how slowly I introduce it my skin does not agree with Vitamin C but I know how popular this serum is so my plan all along has been that I will just sell it instead, so a rubbish day 1 for me but I can understand why they put this in day 1 as it's one of the big ticket items .

This is my second CB calendar and the first year I've not peeked, so have MO idea on contents. I'm not particularly up on skincare (which is why I usually get a calendar) but this looks great and at an rrp of £70, I'm pleased so far.

Joining this thread because it’s my first ever big ticket beauty advent calendar. I’ve had a couple of M&S ones over the years but not since about 2018, so I’m excited!

Strong start this morning. Ironically I bought myself a Sunday Riley set with 25% off in the Black Friday sales so I have another bottle of this stashed away. I’ve never noticed Vit C serums making any discernible difference to my skin but I’m willing to try again. I think it’s because they’re always said to “brighten” the skin and I’m not sure what that is supposed to mean, haha.

My skin was a lot better on vitamin c. But it has to be strong vitamin c and some of the high street ones are about 3%, which is nearly useless as a vit c. It got rid of lots of pigmentation, including sun damage and mild spot scarring.

That’s good to know Zeeza I do have some pigmentation around my temples that I’d like to treat. I wonder what percentage today’s product is? I’ll have to see if I can find out.

Pleased with today's. I suffer with a really itchy scalp from time to time so will give it a try. Never heard of this brand though, so nice to get something completely different.

Love day 1, my skin drinks up vitamin c and I’ve heard great things about the Sunday Riley one.

Day 2, I like these travel size shampoo / conditioner sets for travel and the pool.

So far, so good!

Seems it retails for £25 for 250ml so that’s £20 worth of product. Shampoo contains salicylic acid so it should be effective. I have a sensitive scalp so I’m looking forward to trying it!

Joining today, my calendar just arrived. One of the reasons I bought it was for the Sunday Riley serum so was very happy to find that in day one. Today's look good too.
