Another Bobbi Brown here. Just tried it out on the lips and cheek. Probably prefer it on the cheek than lip but still workable and really useful as a dual purpose make up item.
I think the colour is subtle enough for day so would be great as a travel item. Really pleased and also looking forward to my Molton Brown when it finally appears.
So far I am really happy with the advent no duds from me but I do start from a really low base in regards to makeup/hair care etc as never buy normally beyond the basics so all of these items are real treats

I feel the same - haven’t made many forays into luxury makeup or skincare, so everything in the calendar feels luxurious to me. People who use this stuff all the time are obviously less excited!

Thinking about it I am guessing the word Brown must have confused the packers with some reaching for Bobbi Brown while others reached for Molton Brown!

I received the Bobbi Brown lip and cheek pot rouge in blush pink. Very pleased with this and was a factor in me getting JL. The texture is beautiful. Very pigmented and long lasting. Only need a tiny amount on cheeks and I find lasts well on the lips, has quite a balmy feel to it. Having avoided blusher most of my life I now realise I have to wear it as I get older otherwise I just look sallow! So building up my collection and this will fit in nicely 😊

I got the Molton Brown today. Was a nice size and a lovely scent. I wonder when the Bobbi Brown one will appear! 😂

Molten Brown here for me. Currently waiting for the Oplex to work it’s magic on a very dreich afternoon in Scotland. I’m away with work for the next week so can’t decide whether I get to open an extra one today and tomorrow or splurge when I get back!

Day 4 - Espa serum. Very happy to try this (small sample though - grinch!).

I love a serum but it is small. Bah Humbug

Happy with the serum. It’s a good size to take away for a weekend. You don’t need a lot with a serum so I’d say there is a few nights worth of applications in it.

It is quite wee but the full size one is 30ml and goes for £84, so this 10ml is worth £28!
I can't imagine ever spending £84 on serum so I'll enjoy this while it lasts 😁

Small size but always happy to try a serum from a good brand. Away for 3 nights over Christmas and will take this with me.

I was out all day yesterday (9am to 9pm) and the Bobbi Brown came with me- it was really easy and quick to use for touching up on the go. This year I'm going to try to start using most things quite quickly rather than stashing away.

Looking forward to my shower gel. I have finally started using last year's JL Molton Brown so, if 2nd Brown is late on in month, will be a timely replacement.

Today is a new product for me so although small, happy to use.

Having read the comments here & on other advent threads, I'm really hoping the Bobbi Brown lip & cheek stain appears in another drawer-sounds like something I'd really like.

I'm happy with today's offering. Agree it's only the small side but will be one I'll use.

it is small but at £28 value I can see why. You don’t need much of it to cover a face. I like that it’s a retinol product, will see if it feels like it’s doing anything.

i also got shower gel for yesterday, nice brand, I’m happy with that. Look forward to a Bobbi Brown make up product in another drawer, sounds good.

I use skin + me so todays offering isn't that useful for me but always nice to get a serum and haven't used much espa in the past so looking fwd to giving it a try

My sample of Lancôme Advanced Génifique from the JL winter beauty box has now run out so this is a timely addition to my skincare routine. I loved the Lancôme so will see if this is just as good. I noticed a real improvement in the appearance of my skin from using a serum.

With this being worth £28 our total is now £75.

@Giftwithpurchase - I’d say the retinol is pretty low down in strength so you could use it on nights you aren’t using your Skin + Me.

@Peridot1 I've just gone up a % of retinol in the skin + me and so using it every other night for the time being to be cautious - agree this will be perfect for the other nights 👍

Hello, I’ve never used a retinol product before. Is there a rule about not getting the sun on your skin when you’ve used it? I’ve always been a bit scared by the idea of it but think it’s time I started with the anti ageing products!
