This is my 1st year of the JL calendar.

(I also have M&S & no.7)

I'm pleased so far.

Olaplex is so expensive on its own, glad I've got this top up. (I've got the full olaplex set coming for Christmas)

I don't have a loose powder atm. I've not really been powdering much, more going for the glowy look recently but this is still handy. Never had Laura nervier before.

I got a Molton Brown shower gel, did you get something different? - I’ve checked I’ve definitely opened box 3 …

day 3 - nice product but not the wow I was hoping for.

I got a shower gel . I've never bought from molten brown so will be nice to try . Agree we need a WOW product !

Yeah, I got the Bobbi Brown Lip/Cheek colour as well. Interesting that more than one person got each so not a totally random mistake with one calendar then.

I got blusher in No 3 too.

Not one I've tried before and I am looking forward to giving it a go.

Colour isn't instantly 'Wow' but think would suit most people. Best of 3 days so far for me.

I think there comes a point where you just have to accept you might get spoiled. If we can’t talk about what we get then there’s not much point in the thread. There is almost always someone who gets an ‘odd’ box each year - it’s just not usually more than one person!

Shower gel here too. Whilst not a wow product, I'm still happy as it's a decent size and will take on holiday with me.

I’d have loved blush but got shower gel which is nice but less exciting! I hope I do get the make up at some point!

I agree- let's carry on discussing products. I think we all know what's in the calendar anyway so no great surprises!

Interesting that people got different things today. I got the shower gel. Happy with that. Orange and bergamot seems a bit Christmassy so I’ll keep it to use over Christmas. I’d never buy Molton Brown shower gel but am happy to get it.

I've got the shower gel too today. And ironically also got a Molton Brown shower gel in Fenwick's yesterday. These are fine for me, they'll come in handy and get used but not wow products.

I used the Olaplex yesterday and was very happy with the results. Hair definitely felt smoother.

I don't mean to be negative about the disappointing ones. I always look through before and pinpoint which things and I want and which I won't use. I generally don't like hair products and make-up is very dependent on the product, so those are the ones I'm on the fence about. This calendar had the fewest of those which is why I chose it.... There's definitely some great things in our future!

I had a quick look,at the list of products on the Beauty Advent calendar website and the blusher is listed so presumably we will get it later in the month. And vice versa.

Agree @Stokey I've been a bit lukewarm so far but I know they are things I will rave about in the coming days.

Shower gel for me. Happy to get this. I wanted something with scent.

I got the molten brown shower gel too - I’m really pleased and will definitely enjoy using it!

Have to confess, I’ve got a Christmas party tonight, so I opened another box which contains a makeup product I want to use :)

I’ve got the shower gel. I know it’s not really exciting but I’m really happy with it, I usually just use Original Source so I’ve got a lovely one to use through December which will be a nice daily treat. I wouldn’t normally justify spending more on something like shower gel so this is a win for me. Love the scent too!

This is worth £10 which takes our total to £47. It’ll work out right when those of us with shower gel get our lip and cheek colour!

The scent is lovely. It foamed up nicely when I used it in the shower this morning. It’s a great size too.
I’m pleased with it but would never buy it for myself. If I was going to treat myself to some expensive shower gel I’d go for something fun like lush.

Bobbi Brown for me too. I was a bit confused because I read the waifs and strays thread first and people were talking about Molton Brown - I had to go back and check I had the right drawer! But it looks as if we'll all get everything eventually.

(As I type I wonder if the Brown/Brown thing caused any confusion while packing the calendars )
