It’s the Diplomatic reception tonight, and the King and Queen and prince and Princess of Wales all drove to BP meaning we got to see glimpses of their outfits. Camilla is wearing the sapphire tiara, earrings and necklace she wore for the SA State Visit but Kate is wearing the Lotus Flower tiara again, yay! And a new to us dress, but from a 2019 Jenny Packham collection, apparently.

It's a good dress and great colour on her. There's something a bit Princess Anne c1969 about the hairdo but that's no bad thing, and it's nice to see a different tiara.

Kate looks fabulous. Really love the dress and the tiara, whilst not new to her is a change from the Lovers Knot.

Well I'm a few years behind camilla but I too would be wearing more than the hardy POW, and she's trumped my cardi 😬

That red dress is beautiful. I'd guess it took an awful lot of backcombing to give her hair that lift at the crown. It's great to see the Lotus Flower again.

I was thinking the other day the reason Camilla looks better in a tiara than most is the bouffant hair. Lo and behold Catherine has given her hair a bit of a lift which IMO suits the tiara look much more

I am very hopeful that the Princess of Wales will get to wear a brand new (old) tiara for the coronation!

Camilla is apparently wearing the last tiara the late queen wore, which is lovely continuity, along with a coat belonging to Charles
