Boden dress. Would anyone wear this?

Because I think this is not nice. It makes the lady look like a doily.

That dress is the natural conclusion of the whole Holly Hobbie dress style that is so popular at the moment.

And hopefully it really WILL be the conclusion, and we can all move on to other better styles 😁

I’ve just returned the top. It was a bit too flamboyant for me but, having a very flat chest it could have worked.

I actually quite like it, think it would suit tall willow people. However the tights, belt, cardigan, shoes are all 😱 the stylist should be sacked.

It's not something I would buy for myself as it wouldn't do me any justice. Unless I was going for a sugar plum fairy on a bad day look.

It wouldn't suit my body or my tastes TBH but if you like it go for it I guess.

I mean I have a flat chest so the look was probably less arresting than this model. At least Boden are using different types of models I suppose.

I expect to see it in the Jan sales. Too much going on for me. It’s a different demographic than Bodens usual. The main model manages to make it look like a Xmas version of something to be worn to Oktoberfest. A dirndyl for the crimbo period.😂

Don't like the dress but do like the skirt in tge picture!

I don't understand the latest Boden mail out. It's all tulle skirts and jumpers worn with bed socks and gold lame sandals. Less SJP in her SATC heyday, more child hopped up on Smarties raids dressing up box.

It's clearly hideous. However, seeing it with a jumper over - I used to have a very similar skirt in the late 90s. So elements are good, I think it's just that bodice ruining the rest of it.
