What a great thread! Thank you for doing this. My question is, are chunky loafers going to work this spring? I bought a ridiculously expensive pair this winter and have only worn them a few times with tights and skirts, but would love to get some wear out of them with cropped jeans this spring.

Sadly, not me modelling them 😅

@juicy0 asos have got lots of different wide leg options. Some more subtle! I just thought I'd push the boat out a little 😃

@CertainUncertain absolutely! They are going to be even bigger for SS as the trend starts to trickle down. They look great with cropped jeans as you've said and I'd try with a bomber jacket too if you want to be really on trend . Which ones did you go for? See style inspo attached.

@Maighnuad what kind of wedding is it? Do you have a budget in mind? Everything is quite samey at the moment, the new spring collections will be launching in a few weeks so it's slightly early for occasionwear. I had a look and felt a little uninspired but I do love this rixo dress which I'd pair with a bright pair of satin platforms. I also liked this Kitri dress but long sleeves will probably be too hot for June.

Hi - I could really use some help! I have a really awkward work event to dress for. It's an awards thing, lots of client networking, so pretty formal but day into evening so not black tie/gowns. My usual work wardrobe of cigarette trousers a silky tee and blazer isn't going to cut it...so looking to buy. I'm mid 30's 5"7 and a size 10-12. Decent legs but not a fan of my arms and not got a totally flat tummy these days. Would prefer to avoid black and I'm fair and blonde...any suggestions would be welcome!

Hi Frillseeking, you probably won't remember me but you recommended a woollen winter coat for my trip to Paris. Well I bought one you recommended and I absolutely love it. I've had so much wear out of it and honestly it goes with so many outfits. Here is a pic of me wearing it at the top of the Eiffel Tower (not the most flattering as I'm no model). I absolutely adore this coat and wanted to say a huge thank you. I never would have picked anything like this before. I'm going to have so many years of wear out of this coat!!

@frillseeking what would you recommend to wear for a 90s concert at the O2. In the pit dancing so don't want to get too hot. I'm Size 16 and don't tend to like exposing my arms .
