@AdmiralButterfly I'd suggest something like this lovely, elegant style. The pleating will hide the tummy area and you mention you are smaller on top so you can get away with this lovely wrap over style.

@FireandBrimstone keep them for walking the dog or doing jobs!

Knee high boots and jeans are an autumn/winter staple so you can definitely wear this season. If you are in the market for a new pair, go for more of a riding boot style to be on trend like these Arket ones.

I've got a pair of black dr martens, I don't feel like I'm cool enough for them but I just love them. What sort of things should I wear with them?

Thank you so much for doing this! Can you suggest flat work shoes or boots that would be suitable for, ahem, cankles? To wear with both dresses and trousers in an office.

I was also going to ask about what footwear to wear with wider legged trousers or jeans! (I have very short legs and only 5ft1 so I definitely need to add height) thanks!

@FeralWitch good question. I think it's definitely easier to wear for daytime. See images attached. Love how these are both styled with flat boots. If you're feeling fashion forward, try the loafer trend which is huge for this season. For evening, I'd go for an embellished flat. @HadEnoughOfBears it's v difficult to find inspo for this as all the shops seem to pair wide legs with strappy sandals or trainers but I've attached some images to demonstrate how a loafer or flat shoe can work. Just make sure the hem of the trouser finishes so that you're not trailing them on the ground.

If you can wear a low heel, the simple sock boot style creates a beautiful silhouette underneath a wide leg trouser as image attached

Looking for the perfect longish lined blazer. I'm 5,9. Assuming I'm not making a style faux pas by wanting one, where might I find one with a budget up to £100? To go over Bretons or dresses

Am feeling very positive about getting a pair of leather trousers again but I am struggling to find any. I have found ankle grazers which at 5ft 3 look awful on me. And most mainstream retailers are only doing plastic rather than leather which I think won't be pleasant. Any ideas? I'm think straight ish as I used to wear in the late 90s?

What shoes would you pair with this dress? I'm not great with big heels, but boots might not look right. For Xmas party. I think the dress is a little bit like the vampires wife.

@ShesThunderstorms doc martens are such a classic style that can be worn in so many ways- don't be scared! These looks could apply to any of the flat lace up boot styles around this season.
