Yeah I don’t get why they didn’t make more, especially as - if I’m understanding right - it never went on sale at all to non-BD members.

I got my relax kit yesterday and so far can report the body conditioner is amaaaazing (smell, texture, effectiveness) and
BIG and the rose oil is to die for. The
mini hottie is perfect for a friend who is going into hospital soon and the washbag is lovely. I have had chance to play with the rest.
I agree it's strange that stocks ran out SO fast...if it's a marketing ploy it's one that should only be used every couple of years at most - easy to annoy your fan base with such antics.

I had cancelled my BD membership and still got one so not sure that's true?

I think the Liberty beauty team are just not that good at anticipating which kits will be popular and what demand will be. They’ve had a few kits recently that sold only slowly or after a price reduction - so this time they put a better kit together, and also priced it very keenly (especially with the extra Beauty Drop discount). It then sold out much quicker than they expected.

Hopefully what they learn from this is what makes a good offer - a set of lovely, usable products that haven’t appeared previously in countless other kits and advent calendars and that is well priced (and ideally in a lovely wash bag too!)

Yes I think this is all that happened. It was such a good mix of items for once. Often I look at a kit and there just isn't enough stuff to pull me in, but this time the mixture was really appealing.

It was also a very well timed edit. I always have space in my lift for bath products/candles etc but especially at this time of year.

@Metabigot but did you get it from the preview for beauty drop as I thought it sold out on the preview day and never made general release?
I agree that this was a great kit, there’s only the Luna oil I won’t use in it and the bag is a lovely print. The price was good too. I would have been a bit pissed off to have bought with the discount the day before a gift with purchase though if I’d wanted the gift with purchase / was making a bigger spend. I wouldn’t expect both discount and gift but this is something that could have annoyed me so for me, good that it sold out and that I wasn’t bothered about the gift.

Ooh I've not tried those. I love Philosykos but this time I went for DoSon. I smelt it in Space NK the other day and it was just lovely. Couldn't stop sniffing the sample card!

I love the kit. Yes the bath oil smells amazing, and the body conditioner is a great hand cream. I use lots of face oils, it’s my bed time routine and I’m late the to the Sunday Riley party (always thought it was a bit gimmicky?) but OMG the Luna oil is amazing! I woke up this morning and my face felt smooth like ceramic or glass and so soft.

Love the melantha print on the bag.

I spent far too long trying to figure out how to take the “lid” off the Dermalogica sleep gel though!

@BakeOffRewatch yes me too. If the lid had said push me, I would have twigged a lot quicker! I understand that the Dermalogica retails for about 75 quid, and I've tried it before (sample) and loved it, just held back because of the price.

@redredwineub40 well, I was going to get a baby cheeks blush stick (I already have a contour and a highlight stick from them and love them)...but now see it's out of stock. Liberty's stock issues are partly the reason I cancelled the BD in the first place... any time I decide to actually spend my credit on something it's out of stock!

So frustrating!! I want to try the drops but just a lot to spend unless utterly confident in the colour match!

I still feel it's worth it for all the deals Nov-Jan, got some lovely sale bargains!

Luna is a great product, isn’t it @BakeOffRewatch? I bought a SR kit during the Black Friday sale, and got a 15ml bottle in that. I love the crazy colour and the smell.

I know what you mean about stock issues @doublecleansed. One of the reasons I signed up was to save for a bottle of spendy Vilhelm Parfumerie perfume, and now the only size they have in stock is 3 x 10ml bottles. I just want a regular 50ml bottle 😩 I thought it would come back in stock but it’s been a couple of months.

When was the gwp available please? I spent a fortune on Tuesday and didn't see anything online!

@Jellycats4life im a bit scared of the Sunday Riley face oil now after reading reviews! Can set off hormonal acne, and now that I’ve looked I see it has grape seed oil. I used the Rose Bath Oil today, that was lovely, very oily though, so bath requires a good scrub after if you don’t want young kids to slip - kind of takes away the spa experience! See that has sunflower seed oil. Bit scared of trying all these new oil products in one go, so will give it a rest I think for a week.

If Liberty doesn’t have something in stock online you can call customer services and they will post to you from the store stock, you can use your beauty drop credit as normal this way too. Of course it depends on the store having stock but there’s a decent chance they do.

Ah, bath oils - better for skin, but definitely not better for the person cleaning the bath!

Oh no! If it's still available on line I'd reorder and send your original order back. I think you had to spend £175 but I'd got beauty credit to use up.
