October's Beauty Drop box is en route. Time for a new thread! 💄

Thank you to the posters who put on the links to the Astley Clarke and Pariah sale earings. I’ve just had some beautiful studs and the white topaz hoop’s delivered. I’ve completely blown my beauty drop credit but both are so lovely and I never would have spotted them without the links being posted here!

@HundredMilesAnHour I procrastinated and only got around to emailing customer today! Sorry to hear there's an issue with your earrings too – frustrating isn't it 🤦‍♀️ Did you get in touch with customer services? I will post what they say to me but I'm trying not to get too attached to them in case I just have to send them back without a replacement!

Have a look at the Astley Clark website. The ones I wanted had sold out in Liberty, but I found them cheaper on their own website and free delivery. I’m glad they sold out as I saved over £50 on the sale price!!

And they came within 48hrs in beautiful boxes.

@Orangeslemon I emailed Customer Services on Saturday but I haven't had a response yet. I'm pretty sure I'll have to send the earrings back and settle for a refund but a tiny (unrealistic) part of me is clinging on to the hope that the person who has the opposite set of earrings will also contact Customer Services and we can exchange one earring each. 😏I know....dream on!! I'm grasping at straws.

I’m glad you liked the By Pariah earrings! I think they’re lovely, even though finding the closure is so difficult (seamless hoops are great but I’m always worried I’ll break them).

When are we thinking the beauty drop will drop this month? I think it was a bit later last time than the time before so I was thinking maybe mid next week?

@Jellycats4life I worry about that too, but these are quite thick so hopefully less likely to break. I’m really looking forward to wearing them 😊

@2023username I would re-buy most of the products this year. I'm not always impressed at the time as they are not brands I've necessarily tried but once used I would definitely purchase again.

That for me is why I always go for the Liberty calendar. Opening the Space NK in January and are brands I know better as have a local store. However not as likely to repurchase

Last box dispatched on the 17th and arrived on the 18th. Hoping this one comes a little sooner - I’m off to Mexico on the 18th!

I got my first box, paid some of the money, then cancelled my subscription. Obviously they still took the remaining money and my last £20 was taken earlier this month. My account shows I've cancelled since November. I got a text saying my box was out for delivery this morning.

I'm hoping it was an accidental text, it will be a faff to send the box back othrwise. I really can't afford to keep paying this. I've sent a message to customer services but they took ages to get back to me before.

No text - yet. It’s all part of the build up.🙂 I will be exiting this thread when the boxes arrive because I share it with dd and the unboxing is something we do together. She has first pick this box.

(was a bit grr to see Sali Hughes in the guardian on Saturday recommending the liberty box to all and sundry. No Sali, no, i love you dearly, but if more people join they might reduce the value of the items, or use more filler items like masks. Or again they might rise to the challenge)
