They do drop brands occasionally, which is annoying. I thought that if nothing else excited me I could get the AC, which I didn't like this year, and Oskia products, which they stopped stocking. So now I have 240 in my account. I will have to spend it and maybe stop it. Every time I want skincare or cosmetics it's either far more expensive than elsewhere or they are out of stock. But then I am absolute nightmare to stop for. I cant blame liberty for that.

BakeOffRewatch · 16/11/2022 11:14

I’ve cancelled mine, I’m a beauty subscriber for the remainder of the month (so qualify for free delivery until then) and then I have until 2024 to use the credit, which is reasonable.

I pulled the plug because I wanted to get the Space Nk Makeup free GWP, and I haven’t actually wanted anything makeup or beauty from Liberty. I’ve given it a try though, and I guess for others it might have been the thing that switched them over. I feel I have £120 stuck at Liberty and I’m not sure what to spend on it on, nothing I need or would want if I didn’t have the credit there already. Maybe some homeware or brand name jewellery but as mentioned upthread it’s cheaper elsewhere.

redredwineub40 · 16/11/2022 11:18

I'm on the fence on cancelling too, agree space nk have had better deals for me lately. Make up GWP was good.

BakeOffRewatch · 16/11/2022 16:50

I like these earrings which I saw in their jewellery advent calendar, £115, and I have a £10 voucher on my account at the moment www.libertylondon.com/uk/18ct-gold-plated-vermeil-silver-polaris-white-sapphire-drop-earrings-R472759006.html

That kit looks good @LoveLabradors , I know what you mean about bags though! I have two of the cardboard boxes from the subscription on my table, I’m using one and the other is empty; another reason to cancel for me, I was like what am I going to do with another box! My Space NK order arrives tomorrow and I’m very excited.

This happened after I cancelled but built my resolve, my toddler got hold of the “hot mess” eye liner and drew on the carpet (laid less than a month ago). I’ve got it out with shaving foam and patience, while I was doing it I was thinking this isn’t even something I want, in my house and causing trouble haha. It was my fault really, I chucked it in my makeup bag and forgot, she can’t open anything else in there because it’s twist caps. In the bin now.

Blossomtoes · 16/11/2022 17:03

I’m sticking with it. I wouldn’t have for the advent calendar without it this year and if I don’t want it next year Liberty will always have at least one perfume I want.

Catslovepies · 16/11/2022 17:13

Please can someone clarify for me - can you spend your savings on jewellery, homewares etc or does it have to be spent on beauty?

BakeOffRewatch · 16/11/2022 17:28

You can spend it on anything @Catslovepies. You can also order anything and free delivery applies, I had ordered a toy before but didn’t use my credit.

Catslovepies · 16/11/2022 18:08

That's great news, then, thank you @BakeOffRewatch!

doublecleansed · 16/11/2022 20:56

Black Friday reductions now started at Liberty - including up to 25% off some beauty (including Rose Inc). But remember, you can spend your credit on anything at Liberty (currently scrolling though the jewellery!)

BakeOffRewatch · 16/11/2022 21:35

I’ve just placed my order, 2 children’s books 10% off and the earrings I had my eye on 20% off. Quite happy with that.

They have 20% off on Shaun Leanne jewellery too, if they do every year I’m wondering if I should my cancel my cancel of the Liberty Beauty Subscription 😂, I’d have enough for the earrings I want by next November.

Ah thank you - the plates I want are on offer - tempting!

H3lloMums · 19/11/2022 07:40

Oh not this flannels one is tempting!! JL OR Flannels?

Didn’t know they had books

Catslovepies · 21/11/2022 11:04

I signed up for the liberty beauty drop last week and I've just had a text saying my order has been dispatched. I haven't ordered anything so I think they must be sending me the gift bag from October- I hope so!

Zeeza · 21/11/2022 11:56

Ooh fingers crossed

Catslovepies · 23/11/2022 15:29

Thank you so much @Zeeza, you're the one who originally suggested they might send it and they did! I love the hand cream, the weird green glitter pencil not so much 😂and my mum will be very happy with the perfume. So glad I signed up when I did, and anyone who's thinking about signing up now you very well still might get the Oct box!

Zeeza · 23/11/2022 17:23

I hope you enjoy the subscription! The boxes are really good and basically nearly free, so it's a good deal. I say nearly because liberty can be a touch more expensive than other retailers. But then delivery is free, so we get it back that way too.

I've not spent any of my credit yet. I really really must.

Popplebop · 23/11/2022 19:08

I have spent my credit on some on Diptyque perfume- I know I could have bought it (slightly) cheaper elsewhere but it felt like a treat. I did think so would use my credit on the advent calendar but looking at the content it was too much I wouldn’t use - or already had from the various boxes. I am keeping my subscription for the time being…

This is exactly where I am. Which perfume did you go for?

EasterIssland · 30/11/2022 22:37

BurningTheToast · 03/12/2022 10:40

Morning. As a side issue to the Beauty Drop, does anyone know when the loyalty vouchers are sent out? I had £20 worth in my account and they seem to have vanished but I've received nothing about them.

Thought I might treat myself to the Sleep Kit - another one but it's reduced and such good value with the cleanser and the Omorovicza night cream that it seems worth stocking up.

Thanks

AprilLady · 03/12/2022 11:44

@BurningTheToast I also noticed my points had dropped today and assume a voucher will be on its way very shortly. I’ve resisted the Sleep Kit so far, but very tempted at the current price if I can use a voucher towards it.

SwordBilledHummingbird · 09/12/2022 14:33

There's a few things I fancy buying from Liberty so I've joined the Beauty Drop, I felt like I may as well if I'm going to spend money there anyway! I don't expect I'll get the October box so I'll look forward to the January one.

Noeggsontoast · 09/12/2022 17:24

@BurningTheToast @AprilLady Vouchers for points accrued until end of November are issued in January. All the dates are on the FAQs page for the Liberty Collective scheme.
