I hope we can have some fabulous winter fashion and tiara events!

Meghan is on the cover of vanity fair. whatmeghanwore.net/in-the-moment-with-meghan-x-variety-grieving-her-late-majesty-archetypes-her-favorite-rom-coms-and-more/ Not much fashion to see in the cover photo, but some twitter photos of the dresses she wore for the photoshoot. I'm not desperately keen on any of them, I think they swamp her small frame. I like her wearing her hair down though.

That blue dress with the white flash is dreadful, looks as though she's wearing a bin bag.

Oh I love that dress! I would have worn it when I was very slim. I like the sculptural way the fabric sits.

The cover photo is certainly interesting...especially when you compare it to the Cut Cover.

At this time of year I just want to buy allllllll the cosy, comfy, autumn/winter clothing!! Especially jumpers, boots and coats. But also hats, scarves and capes.

Sadly my budget doesn’t allow for much this year 😑😑 especially now that I’ve just bought a dinner set in beautiful autumnal colours instead (story of my life at the moment - I seem to have developed an addiction to homewares 🙄🙄).

I want to see more of the pale blue dress she's wearing in the side-on shot.

I don't like the harsh hairstyle and the (imho) overly structured navy dress. It's a bit faux First Lady.

Me, too. But even the depths of our winter where I am is not cold enough to justify it. And our autumn is known as "summer with pumpkins." 🎃

@MotherofPearl brooch is so pretty especially with jacket fabric.

I think Megan usually looks amazing but I’m not keen on the navy and white dress looks too big, but I like the voluminous pink floral dress.

I think those dresses on Megan look amazing. I agree that to an extent they swamp her, however I think anyone bigger and they'd look horrendous, so it's a weird dichotomy for me as whoever wears them in the first instance needs to be small and yet they may appear swamped!

Anyway think she looks lovely and also like the brooch and Leti in the red leather! She always looks amazing!

@MotherofPearl Oh that's such a pretty brooch, (opals?) and looks lovely against the tweed. You've prompted to get my Mother's brooches out and to wear some of them, it's been years since they've seen the light.

Meghan's green dress is absolutely gorgeous, I love the drape of the halter neck sash, and the swirling fall of the skirt, and it's a beautiful fabric.

I love the brooch, @MotherofPearl! it really picks up the pink trim in the tweed, which’s also lovely.
Leti always looks good, but as you all know I’m not a fan of red, it looks a bit harsh to me unless it is a very soft shape and fabric.
Meghan also looks lovely, but I think all those dresses are wearing her rather than the other way round. I like her hair from the side with the chignon, but they don’t look like the best part of 10k worth of frocks.

That's a very pretty brooch @MotherofPearl. Very "county" with the tweed. Are they opals with rubies or opals with garnets or an opal with a ruby and an opal with a garnet.

I've never heard of the brand Musto but Zara is the new face of it. She looks so much better in casual stuff than all trussed dressed up for formal occasions.

Thanks for all the brooch love! It's opals and I assume little garnets in the centre of each flower. It belonged to a great aunt. I had an event on at work today, so wanted to make an effort.

I like Meghan's green dress but agree that the navy and white one really swamps her frame.

Musto is a sailing and equestrian brand, Zara has been associated with them for years, probably over a decade, she used to have her own range with them too.
