I love a rose perfume, Atlantic Rose by DS and Durga is a favourite but probably dryer and fresher than you are after.
Florabotanica by Balenciaga is a nice rich rose scent and lasts forever.

Oh! And salt rose by 4160tuesdays if you can still get it?
I'm not a rose fan at all but that's beautiful

I've been missing for a while, put my back out and struggled to muster any enthusiasm for any self care, including scent. However I am feeling a lot better today.

SOTD is Demain Promis by Bastile, still umming and ahing over whether to purchase a full bottle of this one.

It's payday for me today so I'm going to succumb to the Kayali Vanilla love and get some to try. Also have a few samples lined up...

I’m a longtime lurker of you bunch of enablers so thought I’d ask if anyone has any ideas for a perfume that’s got some ginger times to it?

I might be slightly obsessed with the method ginger twist hand soap / cleaner so was wondering if I could get something along those lines. I’m aware this is an odd reason to search for perfume 😂

There’s a Roger & Gallet scent called Gingembre Rouge. I haven’t tried the perfume but have the hand cream and it’s lovely.

Good Ginger perfumes include
Mizensir Eau de Gingembre but it's very spendy. I buy 10 ml decants at a time. I also love Jo Malone Nutmeg & Ginger perfume but refresh the ginger using the Roger & Gallet Gingembre on top.

Sotd is Miller Harris Le Jasmin.
Though it's definitely getting a little too chilly for this one now.

And I've just bought a really persistent Rose, that's a little sultry. Love kills by Masque Milano. But I have a really soft spot for la fille de berlin, Malle's Une Rose & Papillons Tobacco Rose.

SOTD Si Fiori. I love this. Why did they decide to discontinue this and keep the weak and pointless Si Passione?!

SOTD is L'Interdit Rouge. I get so many compliments when I wear it.

SOTD Kayali Eden Juicy Apple. I liked it initially but don't like what it's dried down to. Luckily it was just a sample.

Another vote for Hermes Twilly Ginger, it's gorgeous. I also like the slight ginger hint in Jean Paul Gautier's Classique.

@CorneliaStreet and @ThreeImaginaryBoys I love both those scents so much I have back up bottles squirrelled away.

My SOTD was The Dark Heart of Old Havana, a 4160Tuesdays sample. This one has a wonderful name but isn't for me, I think it's the tobacco note.

@Cantonet you and I have very similar tastes. Really love Papillons Tobacco Rose and FM Une Rose (recently renamed Rose Tonnerre - supposedly still the same but I haven’t tested this; fortunately have a big bottle of Une Rose that will last a while). My other rose favourite is Diptyque’s Eau Rose; like Paul Smith Rose but deeper and with much better longevity.

SOTD was Montale’s Arabian Tonka from the Harrods box. I hadn’t appreciated until I bought it that a number of the scents are Harrods exclusives, and this is one of them. I was nervous to try it given the oud note, but I was very pleasantly surprised. To my nose it’s a mildly oudy and sweeter version of MFK’s Gentle Fluidity Gold (a good thing as far as I am concerned) with fantastic longevity: 12 hours+

SOTD is The Bewitching Jasmine but might go for something a little 'warmer' when I go out later (it's my wedding anniversary today!!!!)
