SOTD Shay & Blue English Cherry Blossom. I quite like this - it's not a sickly-sweet cherry, but a bit sour and woody. The longevity is pretty rubbish though. I've had the hand cream previously and the scent lasted much better with that.

Scent of the day is Sol De Janeiro Cheriosa 40. Hate the rest of the ones I've smelt but the teen in my life didn't like this one and I love it. Has a kind of plum woody scent to it.

I like sweeter stuff but for diffusers I wanted more fresh/soap type. Never tried the PP ones but I'm imagining they're strong

Well, today turned into quite a day. A dreadful migraine came on while I was in the bank. I could barely string a sentence together in answer to their questions and must have made a terrible impression - the cashier looked at me like he thought I was committing fraud and then accused me of lying to him! Pfft! I made made him repeat that three times because I couldn't think what to say in reply - my mind was completely blank. Grrrr! 😭

SOTD was Shazam.

Off to choose something uber comforting for later.

As a fellow migraineur I can only sympathise - I know how frustrating and scary it can be not to be able to find words/speak clearly.
I'm having an odd week. Dh is away with work, ds1 is at university most days, ds2 at school.
I'm just really tired all the time. Possibly long covid (?)
Mum increasingly frail and urgent hospital tests being arranged.
It's half term here next week so at least I can turn the alarm off!!

Help please wise perfume lovers! I have worn Stella by Stella McCartney for bloody years and it's been discontinued 😭. Anything similar out there?

Paul Smith Rose is lovely but not as deep and plummy as Stella

Killer Rose by 4160 Tuesdays is a beautiful deep rose scent. Much more depth to it than Paul Smith Rose, which is pretty but light.

@Judystilldreamsofhorses a physio told you to take up running with PF?! What my physio did was prescribe custom made orthotic insoles which cured the problem. They aren't exactly sexy but I don't wear mine all the time - I like nice shoes too much. It hasn't come back though.

@FestivelyScent you poor thing. Migraines are the pits. My regular ones disappeared with the onset of the menopause which I'm thrilled about because before they stopped I couldn't wear perfume as it would trigger them.

@Thatsasmashingblouseyouvegoton Sorry to hear about your mum 💐 I, too, have been feeling really run down and exhausted since whatever bug it was that struck me last month. I nap twice a day now, and I hate sleeping during the day!
I will definitely be complaining to the bank. I felt like a criminal when I left.

@DramaAlpaca When I first started getting migraines, I worried perfume might trigger or exacerbate them, but thankfully I seem to be okay on that front. Small mercies. In fact, I haven't really identified what triggers most of my migraines, they just seem to come on randomly.

SOTN is also Kayali Vanilla.

As a reformed vanilla hater I'm scurrying over to PP to order some Kayali Vanilla due to the colossal amount of love for it on here!
