Happy Christmas everyone! I have some braised red cabbage in the oven (it's always better if it's left for a day or two) and made some cranberry and orange sauce, and most importantly - no more (paid) work until next Wed!

Going out for coffee with OH soon and will probably get a take away this evening.

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you have all had lovely times. No fragrant gifts here (other than a smashing big box off Molton Brown goodies from MIL) but today I am wearing a very nice sample of Pierre Guillame Ombré Fauve. I bought this AGES ago and must have set it down on a shelf in the kitchen, then discovered it in the big Christmas Eve clean. It’s lovely!

It's my mum's birthday today, 🎈🎀🎈 but she likes a quiet birthday (as do I), so it's been a relaxing day. I even managed a nap this afternoon.

We have lots of delicious leftovers that I'm looking forward to (esp the red cabbage and orange scented stuffing!), and the usual tasty mountain of chocolate, mince pies etc.

SOTD for Christmas yesterday was JHL, only in the evening though, as I wasn't actually feeling very well and couldn't face much. 🎄

Dropped into Sainsburys yesterday for some cut price mince pies and came out with a jasmine and banana blossom candle (also cut price) that OH liked. It's a lovely musky jasmine.
