I've been wearing Malle's Une Rose on repeat. I'm getting through one of those massive bottles of Rose body wash from Tk Maxx and this is just the most perfect Rose for Autumn.

I'm looking for opinions for my Christmas list please. I can't decide between the new Samsara or Bois des Iles. Which would you go for? I'm leaning towards Bois Des Iles I think but I had it before and ended up selling it because it didn't seem to.last on my skin, but I have a decant now and I don't seem to have the same problem.
Samsara though seems more of a year rounder. There's something in there that makes it slightly 'brighter'. I think.maybe it's peach or apricot or something.
I love both. Help

SOTD Byredo Gypsy Water. Yesterday was Mitsouko.

It would be Samsara for me too @Pleasepleasepleaseno It's one of my favourites - I use it during S/S, but you're right, it's perfect year round, and so creamy and comforting. The brightness might come from ylang ylang.

SOTD Myrrh and Tonka, a free 2 ml sample from Jo Malone. It's okay, I guess, but I am not blown away by it. So many people seem to love this one, as well. (On the plus side, at least I don't have to buy it now. 😊).

I am hugely undetehelmed by all the Jo Malones I've smelt.

They just don't last at all. And a few are toilet water strength

I quite like a JM called midnight musk and Amber or something like that. It's a juniper-y musk and it does seem to last. I also kind of love their orange blossom.

I like a few JMs. Red Roses is a lovely true rose, and I really love Wild Bluebell although it doesn’t last on me at all. I also have the wood sage/sea salt one which is a lot more punchy.

It’s not for me, but I think Pomegranate Noir has very good staying power.

Oh yeah I really like the bluebell.one too actually. Doesn't it last? That's a shame. It's sort of been one that I half think about every spring / summer and have never got round to getting

I don't think I've ever tried Pomegranate Noir, which I must rectify as I've been looking for something lighter but still warm and spicy for when I have a migraine. This seems to be almost everyday without exception these past few weeks. I've really been struggling with what fragrance to wear when I'm feeling awful. SOTD is Opium.

Pomegranate Noir is definitely one of the better lasting JM scents. In the dry down I mainly get clove, so it’s not for me. I’ve got a only slightly used 9ml of it I could pass on@FestivelyScent if you wanted to try it.

SOTD is Gallivant Los Angeles. To me this smells of a mixture of pineapple, pine forests and the seaside, which sounds really weird but I love it. My sample is now finished so might have to add this to the ever-expanding Christmas list. Not that I need any more perfume either!

Morning Perfumistas, popping in with a question for you learned scent-wearers. My 15-year-old daughter is expressing a lot of perfume interest and after a short session of sniffing & trying on seems drawn to rose-based scents. Any reccs for something rose-y and interesting for a teen? (I know there are billions, but we have choice paralysis and would really appreciate some help!)
