I bought this dress last summer and despite really liking it have only worn it once. As a larger lady I can sometimes struggle to feel like I look nice. DP says it’s ‘fine’ and 16 year old DS says it’s like something his grandma would wear! Is it awful? I know there are probably other things which are more flattering but I like the weight, the material and the length for certain occasions, so as long as it’s not awful I’ll carry on wearing it! 😂

Thanks ladies!

I like it but a belt would work well!

I don't think it is complimentary. I read somewhere for those of us with a decent rack that v necks are preferable and not round necks. I.try to wear v necks when I can. I think it the sleeves were 3/4 length they would be more complimentary. I'm.52 and got a similar figure to you and love dresses. For a casual.look I wear them.with trainers. I asked my 20 year old niece if she thought it was too young a look for me and was promptly told no it wasn't.

It's a nice dress but the neckline is a bit high for your shape - can you break it up a bit with a long necklace? I am also of large boob and so fed up with high necklines on everything - I often find a long, quite bold necklace helps to break up the 'rack' Grin It doesn't look bad though - it's pretty.

That neckline makes your boobs look even bigger, and the wide sleeves add width to your body.

It's a nice print but I don't think it's a good dress for you

I think it looks lovely on you. It fits really well and suits you. It will also look lovely with cream or black boots in the autumn. Great dress, IMO.

Congratulations on having made all those changes to make yourself feel good :)

I do agree with those who said a C cup seems unlikely - try the Boob or Bust measurements as the right size bra also makes a big difference to how you feel!

I do not find the fit flattering - high neck and your waist appears non existent. A v neck dress and a pulled in waist or a belt would suit you.
