For me:

  • Fake tan - it looks shit on my Celtic white skin, smells shit, makes a mess, takes too much time and is expensive. I gave up on it about age 22

  • Wearing rings and bracelets. I realised at the age of 38 that I never put them on because I hate the feeling of my hands being constricted. Especially as I type all day long.

  • Uncomfortable shoes. Life is too short to hobble.

Speaking to people I used to work with . Small talk .

So-called family. For some reason I am being ignored and left out of things so I've decided they can all get lost.

Me too . Fuck em .

knackeredcat · 01/08/2022 09:40

So many people, but then I'm ND 😁
I'm all about comfort so the likes of thongs, underwired bras even though I have enormous boobs, scratchy tights and heels can get in the bin.
Numerous piercings, I'm down to just one in each ear now. Used to have 4 in one ear and 2 in the other, plus a belly button ring from my 20s. Had to have it out when having an operation and have no desire to have another one because I'm too old and overweight

StarlightLady · 01/08/2022 09:52

Underwired bras and thongs should not be uncomfortable if you are wearing the right size.

Not sure about the thongs, but I do always wonder when people talk about bras being uncomfortable, why that would be.

I wear M&S minimiser bras, and I scarcely notice having one on, even though it's underwired.

I did buy a few from Bravissimo but gave up wearing them as the strap size that was allegedly right for me, was so uncomfortable and dug in a lot.

So doubtless if I wore a different bra, my boobs could look more perky, but frankly I couldn't be arsed with it.

Sounds so comfortable! Can I ask where you got them please?

SirChenjins · 01/08/2022 23:59

Thongs
Tight clothes
Clothes shopping
Nail varnish
Wearing my contact lenses (a biggie for me)
Heels

Being the only responsible adult in the house it seems

Danoo · 02/08/2022 00:02

Sloggi zero feel are about 38 euro but you can get three for 20 euro on amazon!

will this link work? it seems so long

Mercedesbenz2022 · 05/08/2022 09:03

Internet shopping unless I’ve already seen it live , as it were

doesnt look like picture , fabrics isn’t nice , sizing strange , faff faff
then having to package and return

so over it
but as shops stock a tiny range I guess it’s here to stay

More from me:

  • anything that's difficult to iron. Ideally I like stuff that doesn't need ironing at all but that doesn't work for natural fibres and I like to stick to those.

  • body lotion - cold on application and cba to wait for it to dry

@DonateBloodNCheckSmokeAlarms
Thanks for that- I'll have a look..

Are the padded parts removable do you know? I find them such a faff!

DonateBloodNCheckSmokeAlarms · 06/08/2022 20:22

@halfpasteleven yes, you can remove the padded bits easily, I have done so. Although that means more chance of visible nipple if you're wearing eg a thin tshirt!

I think I'd prefer something with non removable pads as I find they don't really hold their shape well after washing them...

Thongs, exercise and men.

Thongs, exercise and men.

Ha, same!

methodbehindmymadness · 07/08/2022 00:21

wearing knickers
snobby and dramatic people
long haul all inclusive holidays
small talk
going to pubs
worrying if people like me

Allicando · 07/08/2022 10:33

Jeans. Wider hips and smaller waist so spend the day pulling them up. The fabric is so uncomfortable I just cba anymore.

Allicando · 07/08/2022 10:34

Also not style and beauty but my stbxh and his desire to chat to other women on dating websites. So long loser!
