Hello fragrant friends,

This is edition 33 (!) of the long running perfumista threads.

SOTD is a free sample that came with an online order (might have been the Escentual blind box actually), Super Gorgeous by Michael Kors. Thought I'd give it a go despite its silly name!

It's white floral and amber, though more white floral to my nose. Ylang ylang and jasmine sambac according to Fragrantica. It's ok and I don't get the horrible indolic note I often get with jasmine, but it's not really my kind of thing. The longevity is really good though. I sprayed it on first thing this morning and it's still going strong.

I've spent today trying to get pizza sauce stains out of the carpet, washing, cleaning...ugh.

So sote is avon timeless. Love this so much. Can't believe they've discontinued it (again)

SOTE Tokyo Spring Blossom - 4160 Tuesdays
Not a fan at all, it's sharp raspberries and Parma violets and is really strong. I've tried to wash it off as it is bothering me but it won't go away 😂

Ah...my ds2 loves it :)
But it's not for me so I know what you mean.

You probably won't like her Rosa ribes or tarts knicker drawer either in that case (both raspberry and violet heavy)

I'm very much enjoying my morning cappuccinos from my new bean to cup coffee machine 😋

Another success, I like the earthiness of this one a lot. I may give it to OH to try as I think it's quite masculine. Happy to have it on myself though for now.

I've only tested on paper so far but will spray later on skin.

I watched a Youtube video by Jus de Rose last night about the best vanilla perfumes and now have a big list of expensive, niche perfumes I want to try. I do already own one on the list, the cheapest one of course!

It was Kayali Vanilla 28. I do also own the Cheirosa 71 body mist she mentions, but not sure that really counts.

SOTD 4160 - Mother Nature's Naughty Daughters
This smells exactly like a face cream from my childhood. I think it was in a little set, possibly to do with Strawberry Shortcake or similar.
Anyway, very nostalgic and I like the smell but wouldn't wear it out and about, so will use up on working from home days.

After me commenting that this no purchase month is a bit challenging, I got a Jo Malone ad on Facebook that offered me a free sample of pear and freesia 😀 I didn't know they did sample offers

Had coffee with a friend today which was nice

I think 4160tuesdays have stopped giving a sample with purchases...thats a shame.
