I agree with @WestrayWife just taking the photo often helps me.

Today I'm in I can't be bothered clothing DD has an ear infection and was up a few times plus I feel rundown so a day of doing nothing.

It hasn't rained though so maybe my decision to pack summer wear away has worked!

@yasminisa I agree with others, I find just taking a photo makes me look at an outfit differently and it makes me feel good to give a bit more thought to what I'm wearing. I also love this thread for inspiration.

I kind of love-hate its design, voluminous sleeves will certainly balance out hips while tight bottom part will accentuate the waist and create an hourglass shape. But looks like the shoulders will be slipping down each time you move and I'm not a big fan of that!
I like this jumper more, but I'll need to see some reviews before considering purchasing, filter can be really deceiving these days!

@toucaninjapan oh that one is lovely too! I love corals & pinks. I think if I had an unlimited budget I’d buy everything from Sezanne. I love their style so much. I do worry about the itch from the wool though. I had to return some lovely jumpers from &Other Stories last year because of the itch, I think I’m a bit sensitive to it.

Managed to to actually take a photo! Sorry for the location 😂 rocking the high street today.

Itchy jumper tip- take an antihistamine before you put it on! Probably not the most responsible advice but it works. I can wear any jumper I want now 😂

It's goodbye to shorts for me today.
Pie crust tank, sweatshirt and trousers all Me + Em. Flatforms from Clarks. I love them even more than beloved Birkies!

That's not enough for me! I take 2 x antihistamine a day every day and still have an allergic reaction to so many things including animal fibres. The answer is to aim for merino wool which has longer fibres so less likely to impact or plant fibres. I also react to many man made fibres like polyester

Right back atcha with the trouser love @happytobemrsg! Love the way you've styled yours, you look fab. Mine are absolutely ancient, got them at least 10 or maybe even 11 years ago. They don't get worn all that often hence the longevity.

Welcome @yasminisa . We have had heavy rain but it is still very hot and humid. Yesterday afternoon was dry so we managed a beach walk. Yesterday blouse seasalt, trousers BHS.

Dull and wet here today, though fairly close too so difficult to dress correctly!

Top: Fat Face (first time it’s fit in about 2.5 years 😂)

Loving the outfits. @PalacePaper love that green dress - beautiful. I am still slobbing around in denim shorts and a boring T-shirt as it's still so warm and summery here.

It's the dreaded 'in between' weather again. Warm during the day but chilly in the evenings and mornings. A different outfit required between 10am and 7pm!

@EllaPaella I've worn three different tops today to try to keep cool and to stay 'fresh'. Out temperature here has been 27 and still humid, no rain

Back home, and back to work. I have no idea what to wear in the current weather. It’s too warm for autumn clothes, and yet it doesn’t feel like summer. Plus my brain hasn’t caught up with office wear yet!

My dress haul from ASOS have been delayed 🙄 did receive an Amazon one but I’m not sure it’s overly flattering… reserving judgement until I receive the rest of them.

Yes @Sooverthemill luckily we have had rain overnight for the last few nights but the days are very much still summer.

I got a lovely oversized long black wool coat for £6 from Vinted for the winter. Almost ankle length. I am looking forward to autumn clothes just because I'm looking forward to a change but at the same time I'm not going to wish away the sunny days and the longer we don't need the heating on the better!

Agreeing with PPs who said this thread encourages you to make that little bit extra effort in getting dressed. I haven’t been on here in a while but I’m already planning tomorrow’s outfit 😬

Today's one of these days when nothing seems to go right!

T-shirt - Franche lippée (good that lots of Japanese women of all ages seem to be obsessed with everything Disney, from Disney-themed engagement rings to shoes and bags with Mickey Mouse, so nobody's gonna roll their eyes at me for wearing something with Alice in Wonderland on it, that's not childish at all. It IS childish though to be wearing such unapologetically short shorts at the age of 31, especially being a mother! What a shame, what will people say?!)

@toucaninjapan the shorts aren't that short at all, and you are a very young thing. I'm more than twice your age and as you know, constantly in shorts!
