I'm going to cling to summer this year with DH working so much I have felt like we haven't really enjoyed it for long enough for it to be over.
I'm thinking of buying a maxi skirt and wearing with chunky boots.

First outfit was for walking the 5 minutes to a beach a little along from our hotel. Think the skirt is very beachy. Not happy with this hat should have gone with the light colour but it stops me getting burnt

Bought this dress as needed something light but that protects me from getting burnt for over bikinis on a couple of the boat trips we have planned but not 100% happy with it, not sure I can be bothered to go swap it and it will do the job.

Evening all! I've missed this thread over the last few weeks but I'm glad to see you're all doing well. We've had covid back in the house again plus been away on holidays etc so things have been a bit hectic. But now the kids are back in school (hip hip hooray!) so I'm hoping life will calm itself back down again. Couple of recent outfits for you, but nothing too exciting to report. Some AW gear definitely on the near horizon though.

Wearing nicer silk blend blouse today for shopping, need to change into something more basic when going to the nursery later.

I hate wearing sunglasses, but I went out around noon so had to put them on!

Re autumn clothing, since the baby sling saga will probably continue at least until next April, I'll need to buy cheap sweatshirts and jumpers from H&M and Uniqlo. Can't wear any of my nicer wool or cashmere sweaters, putting baby sling over will completely ruin them. So yeah, I'm on a lookout for something cheap for nursery runs.
I've also got a waterproof jacket at Joules sale (www.joules.com/Women/Clothing/Waybridge/Relaxed-Fit-Waterproof-Jacket?size=8&id=217476|MNIGHTBST|8) and some khaki Boden jeans (also sale). Not sure about the jacket, but it's very unusual, nobody wears anything like this here so I wanted to give it a try. I've also bought a red hat with a little feather crown which I think I've shown here already.
I'd love to buy some Sezane sweater from their upcoming autumn collection to wear at weekends, but need to evaluate whether I can afford that!

By the way has anyone seen a half-zip sweatshirt/ jacket with fleece? I'm looking for something similar to this (but obviously an adult version):

You're right @toucaninjapan - @Greyhairwarmheart 's hair is lovely and I want that grey! Mine is starting to go and I feel I'll be unattractive salt and pepper then an iron grey rather than @Greyhairwarmheart's shiny silver.

My hair is totally half and half, the top 6 inches is grey and the bottom 8 is still dark mouse. Just not going to commit to dying it though.

well yesterday I had a weird health thing where I just had to go to bed with total exhaustion and tummy pain ( still struggling with intolerances) despite not eating any trigger foods. Luckily DH had come home by then so he was on duty. Slept from 6pm to 7.21 am! Very much needed. DD reports that dad was pretty useless at feeding insects to the hedgehog

Today I'm wearing a black silk IDLF x Uniqlo blouse, Gap straight leg jeans and timberland boat shoes. Air con in the office turns out to be broken and I'm really regretting the jeans!

Love your disco t-shirts @WestrayWife ! @faffadoodledo I'm the same with the sezane website, I've come to the conclusion that it's set up for browsing and coming across things rather than being able to look for specific things in a targeted way! They do have some lovely stuff though so I'll look forward to seeing the autumn collection , the knitwear seems especially nice.

All a bit frantic at the moment, we're supposed to be going away Friday lunchtime and there's sooo much to do at work before we go!

Oh joy of joys, I am now off for a few days! Sooo needed - brain feels totally fried. Sitting chilling in leggings and an old tee with lovely PurplecatDog. He has finished his meds and is back to his usual self. I am so happy - it’s has been such a worry.

Wearing a Lounie top (it has buttons, so will need to change before going to the nursery, otherwise it'll hurt DD in the sling) and Uniqlo shorts for grocery shopping today.

So the Sézane website is a bit confusing but I just go to eshop section and go through each category. They tend to have the newest stuff at the top. Re knitwear: watch fabric content and sizing. I only get the cotton or merino wool jumpers now having learnt the hard way. Far too scratchy for my sensitive skin. Also most knitwear is far too oversized to buy my normal size so for a gaspard ( which I've never kept) for my usual top size of uk 10 I get the xxs which is a UK 4 For leontine i get S which is size 8. Blouses are hit and miss, lots of my tops are size XS. Bottoms are better I usually end up in size 36 uk 8 but some bottoms I'm a 38 or even a 40. The brut sexy everyone says size up one size from your Levi size for example.happy to help with sizing

Thanks for the kind words about my hair. I started going grey in my early twenties and stopped dying it in my late forties as it needed dyed every 4 weeks and was in terrible condition. I don't always love the colour but it is much easier now.

Your legs are amazing @Rollerbird. You look great in jeans. Enjoy your time off @Purplecatshopaholic and @Cardigansalltheway . Sounds like you are both needing a break. Glad to hear purplecatdog is better. Yesterday top H&M skirt white stuff. I mainly buy from charity shops and have way too many clothes.
