Packing for holiday today we are only taking hand luggage so far I have for everything in!

Wondered why I stopped wearing this playsuit it's a cheap 7/8 year old primark and now I remember it's sweaty polyester!!

So today is going to be very exciting and very stressful. DH and I are going away for 24 hours while DD and his GF come to look after DD. We are going to Norwich for the night in a fairly posh hotel and I’ve booked a table for a Michelin started Italian ( or so they say) . It’s an hour’s drive so we can jump in the car and come back quite fast in an emergency

I have 5 dresses laid out on the bed. Which to take? All of them? I used to be ace at packing. I’ve done so many lists and instructions my brain is frazzled. I know DD will struggle and will be much worse this next week as a result of having to cope with extra people but she offered to do this. Im a mixture of happiness and dread. Also, wtf will DH and I talk about for 24 hours alone? The last time we did this was for his birthday in in 2013 4 months before she became ill. Oh well

I know what you mean about talking to each other in no way similar to your situation but DH haven't been out together for years, not helped by this year were his band has had a gig every weekend sometimes 3 in a week, alongside his PT day job.

@Sooverthemill - have a lovely time. I’d also take all the dresses and decide when you get there.

@faffadoodledo I'm definitely in repeat mode, this everything from Mango outfit was posted a few days ago. I was actually wearing linen tee and trousers earlier but covered myself in a delicious Magnum that I enjoyed eating in the garden 😳.

Everybody looks FANTASTIC, such a joy to see all your stylish outfits!
Unfortunately I have nothing to post, we’ve been down with Covid, which means pyjamas all day. DD is clear to go to nursery tomorrow, so I’ll start going out again, too bad I can only wear something very plain as carrying DD’s 9 kg weight in baby sling for 40 minutes (20 minutes of which walking outside in +36 heat) will surely ruin any of my more delicate clothes. Can’t wait when we will get into a nursery close to the house! So far it looks like we might need to wait until April. Maybe I’ll just buy a bunch of sweaters at Uniqlo for the winter time as I don’t want my nicer sweaters to go all bobbly from the sling.
I have all next week off though, so hopefully I will finally have the opportunity to wear something more exciting yay!

Friday and yesterday at the beach so this dress is easy to throw over a swimsuit. Dress Nomads.
