@PalacePaper I like the neckline of that top - I'd keep personally as it looks like something that would work with lots of different skirts/jeans etc. Sorry don't mean to derail your wardrobe edit!

Jigsaw dress today, bought earlier in the year for a special occasion but I've decided that life is too short to keep things for "best" so wearing to work 😁.

I’m torn. I don’t want summer to end, but I much prefer dressing for autumn. Summer is not my season - I find outfits much more challenging.

Skirt: Next (ancient sales bargain - I’d love another one this style/shape, but no one seems to sell them at the moment)
Trainers: Jigsaw

Thanks @Cardigansalltheway it's always nice to get a second opinion 😊 I really like the stripes so it will probably get a reprieve until next summer when I can replace it.

If the uk is going to have actual summer weather for prolonged periods, then I might actually need more summer clothes. My outfits are definitely getting repetitive.

In a similar boat with summer clothes @OublietteBravo I'm definitely starting to run out and feel like I could do with investing in another couple of bits!

Working from home today so will need something a bit more formal on my top half, but in the meantime dressed for maximum coolness, top and skirt both Mango.

Ooh some lovely outfits today again. Roasting here today and WFH with the fan on, lol. Maxi linen LBD is from Laura Ashley waaay back in the day (I swapped the belt for a piece of ribbon), with shoes from Ana Bonilla which are also seriously old. Dog nose behind me, lol.

I've found this woman has really helped me think about pulling a capsule...well a big capsule wardrobe together
@OublietteBravo and she has some good ideas for summer. Have to admit she influenced me to try a dress from Reiss that I'll show you all later today

Linen dress is Reiss and the one I saw on the blogger it was in the sale but still expensive for me so going to think about it and iron it before keeping it.

@Sooverthemill love your top today, gorgeous colour. It honestly does feel very holiday like at the moment and I'm not in the slightest bit regretting not going abroad this summer, although I am wishing we'd gone somewhere like Devon or Cornwall.

In the office today but it's simply too hot for proper office wear, and there's practically no one in on a Friday anyway, so sweltering in tailored clothes feels pretty pointless.

Lovely outfits everyone. I am on the last day of our ten day Cornwall/Devon holiday and it's 29° and to be honest it's now too hot to properly enjoy. We have been blessed with amazing sunshine everyday but yesterday it became too hot and reminds me why we don't go abroad in July/August! Feeling very grateful that I brought my 'abroad' clothes with me though!
I had a mooch round some shops yesterday and got some lovely dungarees in the sale from Fatface, looking forward to wearing them but way too hot at the moment.

Thanks @OublietteBravo and @Sooverthemill I thought the same I won't wear it enough, if the children were older and DH actually went out then I might but not with my lifestyle.

Decided to keep the superdry dress which is lovely in this weather.

Meeting friends for drinks and dinner in town this evening, hence the dress (Whistles). I have really mixed feelings about this one, love the colour and print but the waistline is weirdly high (and I definitely don't have a long body!).
