This is the dress I wore last night. A Sézane archives bargain. I had to take it up!

@Sickoffamilydrama my mums and my dads ashes are scattered at evening hill. An easy half an hour drive from Salisbury where I was born and bred. They sued to love to sit there and watch the sunset. We've been waiting for a bench spot to come up so we can have a memorial to them but it's a long wait! I love the area so much, we couldn't afford to live there either hence southwold. Happy memories of a childhood on the beach after school . Also you look great!

Nice cool outfit @OublietteBravo I can confirm it's hot in Oxfordshire with no real breeze.

This is my only summer skirt now and I am struggling to style it gone for the white tshirt, problem is I think it's supposed to sit lower but that doesn't suit my shape it seems to slide about and shift wonder how I can alter it?

Despite @Cardigansalltheway’s very sensible advice on hot weather/jeans, I’m starting off today in… jeans! I’ll change into shorts when it warms up (I’m WFH this week as roadworks make it very difficult to actually get to work - 3 of the 5 roads into the village are closed this week).

I always struggle more with what to wear in summer than other seasons, but I'm (very) slowly working my way towards a capsule wardrobe which is helping.

I fell off the thread for a bit, life and work got in the way. I hope you're all well? I haven't caught up properly yet, but some brilliant recent outfits, not that I'd imagine they would be any less than brilliant!

Just wanted to thank you all - I took your advice (and robust encouragement that my knees aren't that bad... 🤣) and wore the short sequin dress for my birthday this weekend. Thank you! I felt good in it and had an awesome evening and I'm grateful to you all for encouraging me to wear it! 😊

Your party dress is Awesome @toastfiend! V old LBD for me today - not sure where from, it’s that old (I prefer at least a short sleeve but it’s going to be hot today!) Shoes are another pair of Michael Kors. Got meetings today in the office and dressing for workwear in the heat can be challenging!
