That's quite a sensible Scottish outfit, the obligatory tartan, but it doesn't look too much like literal dressing on Anne.
She loves those shades 😎

In Anne's case you know it's a tartan skirt she's had in the back of her wardrobe since 1985, not a new one purchased specially for the visit!

It looks like she’s getting her style tips from the queen Sometimes that is not a bad thing, the queen dresses very well, however not in this case, I loathe those just below the knees pleated tartan skirts.

The older royals love a bit of tartan when in Scotland. I remember Charles fully kilted up on his honeymoon at Balmoral. The Queen and DoE did too. Must be where Kate got her literal dressing vibe from.

Remember the tour when the humidity turned Kate's hair into a curly wurly frizzy heap? That's how I'm rocking it here in Devon this week. Decided to let my curls do their thing after thirty years of blow drying and straightening and hence I'm the closest to a royal hair 'do' as I'll ever get.

Only checking in because I'm in the launderette which has wi-Fi, our plot does not (we have four teens between two families so that went down like a lead balloon), so I'll wave and say hi and will check in on the other side!

Leti's certainly glowing there! Her dress is lovely, very summery.

Really. But how do you get it all over back and front evenly. Is it sprayed on I just know it would ruin my dress, I'd get it all over the bathroom, stain towels, bedding etc. I do know from a waitress friend that the fake tanners ruin the white linen leaning on tables.

I like Leti's dress but am not a fan of the mahogany tan look personally. She does look good though as ever!

Leti looks far too thin in those photos IMO. She looks healthy, and muscular, but I think she'd look better if she gained a few pounds.

She probably has people to do it for her @justasking111. I doubt she's contorting herself in her bedroom to do it herself!

Following Frugalkitty's post I've had an enjoyable half hour revisiting the 2012 SE Asia and Pacific tour - complete with curly hair.

I like almost all of the looks there except the bright pinky purple striped dress - is that the Erdem one? William's blue shirt is 😱 compared to how nice the casual pink one looks on him!

I'd forgotten Kate's addiction to the nude LK Bennett Sledge in her early years as a royal!

I'd almost forgotten the nude heels as well. The Erdem is bottom left I think.

Those are lovely photos. Kate has become more staid as she's got older.

Leti's ultra-bronzed look is not for me I'm afraid, though that dress is lovely and summery.

I agree that Kate's hair could do with a cut. I prefer it shoulder length and dark brown as shown in the red dress picture posted upthread.

If anything, I'm less staid. I've got to the age where I don't really care what people think about the way I dress.

Is that a Douglas tartan Princess Anne is wearing? That's the same tartan dd's school has adopted for their uniform skirt!

I recall the pink dress Kate wore was a local one, given as a present.

Wasn't it a faux pas in that it was from a neighbouring country or something?
